PLEASE KEEP THIS SERIES UP! I’ve added three books to my “to read” list. I read The Year of Less last year (uhh yea started the same way u did with no/low buy intentions that didn’t last the entire year bc it was 2020!) Know my Name is already on my list too. (Longest book I’ve listened to was one of the HP books is 22 hours long.) For your TBR Anxious People looks good. That last one too! Enjoy your reading everyone!!

I apologize in advance for the long comment I'm about to leave lol. I don't know if you've heard of this (free!!!) app Libby but it allows you to check out books digitally for free from your local library to read on your phone or tablet or kindle! Possibly other methods I am not sure. It has both like regular ebooks and audiobooks (I think less audio but I am not sure because audiobooks don't work for me). I highly recommend it! This has allowed me to read over 40 books since the middle of last year without running out of even more room on my shelves haha. I really don't prefer ebooks to be honest but I have come to like them and obviously I still can't physically go to my library. I really enjoy being able to highlight favorite quotes and look up definitions for words all within the book and not going out to a separate screen. I have also really enjoyed how it tracks how long it takes me to read something. Anyway, I recommend the app so highly for fellow book lovers. Some book recommendations especially since you seem really into fantasy! 1. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas: this is one of my first reads of 2021 and it is a series that began several years ago now. It's a fantasy novel that has to do with a world of Fairies but maybe not how you might think of fairies. I really enjoyed and I am (im)patiently waiting for my place in line for the second installment on the app haha. But I think probably the whole series is out by now if you just wanted to buy the whole set. 2. The Starless Sea by Erin Morgenstern: Very fantastical and magical, gorgeous writing, a secret world of books!!! Lots of little mysteries to connect. ! I am so in love with this book. Top 2 for my 2020 reads. 3. The Overstory by Richard Powers: This is a beautiful story told from a lot of different points of view. It's kind of a collection of short stories at first but then it's more a traditional story. It is fiction but it is very connected to real things and our world here and now. It made me fall in love with the nature around us. I was kind of speechless for like hours after I read it lol. Overall themes of nature and interconnectedness. 4. Shadows on the Moon by Zoe Marriott // Barefoot on the Wind by Zoe Marriott: More fantasy! Kind of retellings of some Disney movies I know you enjoy but set in very different worlds that are even more magical. For the first, I actually didn't realize it was meant to be a retelling until I was reading on goodreads! Then once I realized I thought it was such a unique way to think of that story. They don't have anything to do with each other but they are connected in that they are both a kind of retelling if that makes sense. These are fun reads! Happy reading! I will definitely be checking out some of what you read :)

@@biancarivers6369 I can sense your disappointment in me haha. I'm a Potterhead as well but always thought the books looked a bit tricky to read as I was growing up, so i just stuck it out with the movies, plus never had the chance to get ahold of the books. But this Christmas and birthday I was given the set. So I decided to read them. So far Philosophers stone was brilliant! and the chamber of secrets is good so far! Thank you for sharing what you read this month pal! And I would love to see more of these videos each month. I can't remember the last time I read fiction. I tend to always go for non fiction, just always entices me more, something I want to learn about or understand more. I started reading "surrounded by idiots" by Thomas Erikson. It's aboit different types of human behaviour, being misunderstood, how to understand others better. So far, I am invested. I'm not a fast reader, I take my time over each page, and you usually find me pondering what I just read before I turn the page, such an over thinker, I can't help it. So yeah, you'll never get me in a book club, I could never keep up with others. I'll send you a link of a couple of books you may be interested in. Thanks again Becka 💙

I read a lot in January and I’m hoping to keep the pace where it’s at. Currently working through Concrete Rose by Angie Thomas (author of The Hate U Give) and it’s just as good as her other novels which both get 5/5 stars from me. Lengendborn is on my TBR but I don’t think I’ll get through it this month because of Fantasy Romance February. I mostly listen to non-fiction and contemporary books through audio too. Basically anything without magic or huge worlds I can listen to while doing other things. It definitely helps to read more that way!

I read the missing 411 books. Extremely interesting. If you're into some real life mystery/paranormal and quite frankly important information, I'd suggest reading at least one or all of them. The books are about all of the people whom go missing around the world in national parks and otherwise under mysterious circumstances and are found in the same way or never found at all along with all of the strange factors that these people have in common. It's a rabbit hole, but it's a true rabbit hole and fact based. Very interesting and even more concerning. On a brighter note, love this vlog and interested in seeing more. Always fun to discover new books!
