Pomme (spoken without e) is part of Aurora's new album with this song. Is the first collaboration of Aurora that has made it into an album. The two are great together. And once again the live version is better than the studio version. Here they sing more with each other. Aurora wrote this song and Pomme rewrote her part of it a bit that everything fits so wonderfully with the two different languages. The two really met for the first time after the release of the album, when Aurora was in Pomme's country through her tour. And they also sang together at one of Aurora's concerts.

Thanks. Hope you enjoyed the studio version, as well! This was right after Aurora and Pomme first met (not counting Zoom, email, etc.) They’ve said they want to work together again. The piano at the end should be Aurora playing, sounds like it’s mixed in from the album track. Aurora is being vague about especially these lyrics, wanting people to find their own meaning, but said this as a general statement: “I do often feel like this world is trying to make me focus on all these great miracles. And somehow I feel like it makes me miss out on the small ones. And that is sad. Because the small miracles happen all the time. Sometimes several times a day. And I want to see all of them. Because everything matters.”

So so glad that I can speak French and I get to listen to both Aurora and Pomme sing it together. This was so unexpected but so magical.

Pomme, the French singer who dueted with Aurora, has released a new song called "one million" which is a real poetic and artistic song. I recommend watching the official clip in black and white.

As a little girl in Norway Aurora spent a lot of time alone in the forest with the animals day and night. She started making up melodies about 6 years old and writing songs about 8. Was terrified of performing at first but wanted to share her thoughts. Like in Runaway at the Noble Peace Prize concert. Another different happy Aurora is in one of her latest, Cure For Me. She’s bi and against the conversation therapy practiced in some countries including her own.

To me it's about - which is an important keyword for me, because it can be about something different for everyone -, but it's about two things. If you listen very carefully, it's a beautiful and a sad story. There's something ominous about it too. But also something extremely beautiful. It's about these people, the you and them, me in the song, and they are going through something which forces them to think about life differently, and they look at each other and they look around themselves and they just grasp that time is slipping out of their fingers too quickly. I look at everything and am imagining in the end of the song they drive this car out to a sunset, and they watch one very last sunset together and... there's a fear that you miss out on all the beautiful things. There is so much beauty in this world, the small things as well." And this man lived in this castle like hundreds of years ago, and he was French, Marcus Gerhard. I knew a bit about [Pomme] because she's extremely sweet and very talented. I asked her if she could write the ending of my song in French, and she wrote a beautiful story about the flowers we picked in all of your favourite places. Pomme is the French word for apple, as well as the amazing singer’s name.

I had never heard of Pomme so I've checked her out. She has some great music! I love the tone of her voice. I think she'll get many new fans over this. I wonder if she's on the short list to be Silja's replacement as backup singer. Probably not, Pomme has her own career.

They make such a great team hope to see some more of these collaborations. I began cheking Pomme and she's so freaking good. Haha - they were not saying pom-ee, they were saying "everything matters to me, to me, to me, to me." Pomme, the singer, wrote the final verse of the song in French. It was not a translation of Aurora's verse. (I thought it was at first, but no!)
