This week we also shopped whats new in the Target Dollar Spot, we found a ton of target dollar spot valentines day decor! I am on the hunt for Spring and Valentines Target Dollar Spot 2024 finds! I figured somebody probably beat me to it but you said exactly what I was gonna say. Because that’s what my sister does but she doesn’t have a tissue holder. She just has this pretty glass vase thing that she does that and it’s so pretty in her bathroom.

Yes, this! ☝🏻 For the clear acrylic tissue boxes, you’d remove them from the ugly cardboard box altogether, and just place them in the acrylic box. Also good for paper napkins.

Correct. You’re supposed to transfer the tissues from the original box to the clear, displaying just the white tissues. I have one and think it has a nice aesthetic appeal.

I bought my lamp candle warmer from Amazon, and I love it!! Amazon has a few different styles! We have two cats in the house so No more worries of them bumping a burning candle or dragging a tail through the flame!

Great find on the Stanley cup. I love that candle warmer! I would remove my tissues out of the packaging and put them in the acrylic container.

As an asthmatic person as well as a candle maker for over 10 years, here are my tips for reducing soot and black smoke. Switch from paraffin wax candles to soy wax, beeswax, or coconut wax candles. Paraffin is made from petroleum and therfore releases a lot of toxins which can trigger issues for people with respiratory issues, and also that black smoke. Keep your wick trimmed no matter what type of wax candles you choose to use. And finally, snuff your candles with a snuffer or the lid that your candle comes with. Let it stay covered for a few seconds (if it's a candle without a lid like a taper or pillar) to allow the smoke to dissipate into the snuffer you're using. If it's a lidded candle, keep the lid on it when you snuff it. That said, I highly recommend switching from paraffin wax candles to a safer wax candle, it'll make a huge difference.

Yes take out the tissues of the cardboard box which probably doesn’t match your home or this way the clear box allows a white tissue which will probably go in any room

I log the acrylic tissue box covers, & while the idea is to cover the box which probably does not match your decor, I’m all about some paint, vinyl, & jeweled embellishments that will have people thinking it was designed by Coco Chanel or purchased from Tiffany’s…. So about something that is DIY fabulous!!!

the watering thumb is like a shower for your plants. holding your thumb over the hole keeps the water from coming out. There's no way I have enough talent to do that without soaking my entire floor 😆

OMG I WORKED THE PACKAGING FOR THOSE BATH SETS!!!! That's the first time I've seen them in-store! They don't have them in my store. I'm freaking out!!! And no those items are not sold separately but there is a three piece set that is kind of similar that I also worked on.

Some people remove tissues out of orginal box and put in clear container. So it just shows the white tissue paper.

Yes I got the tissue box to go over my faux leather cover so we can pull out 1 tissue at a time. And to bug my son who's always complaining about using the other 😂

Those clear tissue covers can be covered with rhinestones or fabric or contact paper. I prefer the bling.

I think the term for the style of the threshold collection is “post-modern”, which is a big trend in younger ‘gen z’ style. However, it was also big in the 80s/90s, which makes a lot of us feel like we are walking back in time to our parent’s homes. I know for sure my mom had one of those narrow circle vases. What comes around…

Hi Katie! I always look forward to your video's! My nearest Target is 35 minutes away, so i enjoy watching you shop so i can look forward to my next Target run, lol. The candle lamps are amazing and make your candles last longer...plus i have boys who think it's funny to blow out a lit candle when i leave the room 🤣...atleast with the lamp i can enjoy the fragrance in our home 🙂.

I saw someone use one of those mini lamps in their kitchen but they cut the cord off and are using an Amazon LED puck light in it so no cord. It really looked so good!

Tissue boxes clear are just to give weight to tissue box so when you grab a tissue the box won’t lift up and make getting a tissue hard. With the weight it makes it easy to hold box on surface while you get your tissue. Lol 😂

The acrylic tissue boxes will preserve the cardboard but they are also wipeable where as regular cardboard tissue boxes aren’t and people tend to touch them so it helps to have a wipeable surface.

You are too funny 😂 you’re the second KZfaqr I’ve watched that’s been confused with this tissue holder. You don’t actually put the box in the tissue holder. You remove the tissue and layer it inside of the clear holder it looks very nice, very clean.

Your excitement to be back at Target after 10 days is how I feel on my weekly Target runs. Each week I'm excited for the next.The dollar spot is so good. I can't wait to check out my store this w/e. The acrylic tissue boxes is a hard no 😢for me. I see comments about removing the tissues from the cardboard boxes which may wirk for some. I won't display tissue containers and take up real estate in my home. I have pocket tissues in my purse and that's all I need. I love the H&H ceramic containers. That light brown color is gorgeous and the wood on the coffee scoop is beautiful. TFS Katie 👍🤗

I only buy the decorative boxes, but my kids tend to wet them up and they fall apart, so I will be going to get a few of the acrylic boxes to cover my paper boxes

I got the glass soap dispenser(the smaller hobnail one) from the dollar spot last weekend! I filled it up with Dawn for my sink downstairs in our bar! It works perfectly! Love it! I think the big dispenser would be great for shampoo or conditioner! You take the tissues out of the box they come in and put them in the clear one. I bought one of those candle warmers from Aldi last year and still haven't even taken it out of the box! I need to do that!

With candles be sure and always trim your wicks before lighting. That cuts down on the soot stuff and also helps with the mushrooming of the wick which also makes everything black. 😊 the candle warmer thing is a safer alternative though without worrying about a flame altogether

Ooh you’re right about the tissue boxes! UNLESS, maybe you can remove all the tissues from the cardboard boxes and place just the tissues in the acrylic ones🤔 I would do that! For a sleeker look😍 or maybe it’s so they just keep the boxes from getting wet if you place them on your bathroom sink area. I’ve been wanting the candle warmer! Candles made with soy wax are free of petro soot provide a pleasing, healthier alternative to paraffin or paraffin blended candles you often find online or at your local department store. Out of all the candle wax options, beeswax is the best choice for the environment since it is 100% renewable and sustainable. I believe the watering thing works like when you have a straw in your cup, put your finger over the hole and lift it out and the liquid stays in the straw till you release your finger over the hole. It looks cool, not super practical though, especially if you have lots of plants.

I just looked up the candle warmer. 1st is not available anywhere near me. 2nd I decided 2 read the reviews. They're very mixed. Seems like there r many with quality issues & that's where people have actually purchased in store. Shades cracked at the top, bases cracked & u don't know any of that until u unbox it. Also others were complaining about plug issues. Read the reviews. I liked the idea but $30 for a hit or miss product, I think I'd save my $$$.
