My word..the man can act, the man can sing, the man can dance...and he has a beautiful wife, and two children. Some people seem to have it all, and my hat is off to Hugh Jackman and his family.

I have always yearned for a DVD of this, and his one man Broadway show....I can't ever get enough of him.

My brother works in the film industry and does publicity interviews for movie trailers. He got the opportunity to talk with Hugh Jackman at considerable length on several occasions. My brother also happens to have an adult son who has an IQ in the 175 range, super-genius; Stephen-hawking type math skills plus a law-degree, invited into government-sponsored think-tanks, etc. My brother tells me that Hugh Jackman is the only person he's ever talked to that is as intelligent as his own son.

I think for Hugh getting his MANLY MAN cred as Wolverine while het married was needed before he could show off his real passion for show and dance. In this day and age the prejudice against straight men enjoying stage and dance is sad.

It doesn't matter gay or straight we love to perform and study our craft to make it our dream to entertain people and leave the world a better place. Peter did this everytime he stepped out on the stage. The man was a star and one of the last ones in my book. Hugh did a great job portraying Peter and if you listen close it really does sound like peter.

He sure could perform like Peter. He was also a Australian. Same accsent.

He is a great actor...bet he took ballet when he was a kid, look at the way he dances. And sings really well too. Look at him in the London National Theatre production of Oklahoma.. the best Curly ever..Then his current reincarnation in rally macho buffed parts.. amazing.

It meant SO much to me in my high school years that Hugh did this show - homophobia in my high school was strong, and to most boys at the time Wolverine represented everything "manly" in the traditional sense. But then he did this.

His dancing is pretty good here considering how few dancing lesson he'd had before the show. However, I've heard from a few people who saw the boy from oz in australia that his dancing there was a lot better, because he'd had more dancing lessons. I hope someday someone will post legs diamond from the australia show on youtube..

He is playing. You know, there is something called "range". Hugh has one of the biggest acting range and this is one part of it. He can dance and sing. He isn´t gay, and even if he was (or anybody else), who the hell cares?

Well just think.....if Dougray Scott wasn't stuck with MI2 with Tom Cruise. He would have played Wolverine and we would have been saying Hugh Jackmen who? I wonder if Dougray did any test footage.

Hugh missed the boat...He plays Peter like Ethyl Merman -- Peter was not a belter. And I was there for the VIP only opening night on B'way in Oct. 2003. I was happy to be there to see my friend honored, but Jackman fell short, but was supported by the press, who never supported Peter -- odd eh?

In the original "Boy From Oz" Peter was played by Todd McKenny, he was 10 times better than Hugh, but Broadway wanted a Star (Broadway's Loss)
