To me this song represents the memories of a lost loved one. The memories you have of them are going to be less reliable every day you don't see them again, but when that's all you have left it's the closest thing to the truth.

I love A.T. it does feel odd I'm 66 years old but the stories blow me away. Some of the characters are so wild e.g. Lemon Grab, Peppermint Butler the dude who lives in a cube and I think he monitored people,s dreams he hosted parties with Cosmic Owl in a jacuzzi. Absolutely fantastic TV.

...this song makes me think about all sorts of things that have left my life... people, plans, paths. You can't ever go back to exactly where you left off, but the effects of everything before will always persist, in their effects on everything afterward.

I remember when adventure time came out as a kid. Now I have kids and my son rewatches it back to back. This show is beyond underrated. I don't even mind the repeating.

This brings me back to when I was about 7. I was so excited to see shows like Steven Universe, Dexter's Laboratory, Adventure Time, and Kick Buttowski. I always hopped up anytime I saw Finn accomplish his goals. Then, it all started leaving. Every time I saw the end of a show, I began to bawl my eyes out knowing there is nothing else to learn about to show. There will no longer be anything new or interesting, just shows I've already experienced. But one thing i remember about my childhood is this song and Love Like You. Anytime i heard either of those songs, i felt happy, as if i was at my prime glee. Ever since I've come back to this song. I've gained so much more nostalgia and I feel like I have my life on track. Seeing how much I've solely grown off of animation and music, I want to get into Digital Arts and animate to be as great as the people who made my childhood as great as it was, to get a guitar so I can learn to be as great as Marceline, to learn how to cook so I can be thie greatest Boyfriend for the person whose given me a new perspective on life, to learn how to sing to improve my voice so I can be as angelic as people say I am, and to give me and my girlfriend the brightest future possible. Now I'm only 13 so of course I sound incredibly eccentric and exaggerating, but I believe that if i try hard enough, I can achive all these goals. As long as I never give up and keep going through my hardships in life that i have yet to go through, I'll make it. Sitting, looking up at the city skies, with shine and passion in my eyes from what I intend on becoming. i wish i could go back to my various childhood homes and see how they've all changed and what stayed the same. maybe, then, i could get some closure on my life. nothing really feels like it matters anymore, i'm barely trudging along through the thick, murky waters. i don't think i could truly be at least a little content with what i've come to be and what i will become unless i saw those houses again. filled with memories. filled with the happiest days of my life. filled with the emotional strain my parents caused for me regularly and filled with the childhood naiveness that caused me to be okay with it. filled with the laughter and joy of _me_ and everyone that entered. filled with the only truthfully happy days of my life. days i'll never be able to return to. everything stays to some extent as long as you remember it was ever there, but the memory slowly fades, like the erosion of the rocks that slowly made the beaches. they fade like the water from the shore, hopefully making new memories as it comes back, and those ones eventually fading too. every joyous moment in my life is just a painfully scalding memory now; memory of days lost and gone cold. this song is the only way i can feel somewhat close to the fleeting years i was happy. sorry for the rant, i just feel like i need to out these feeling somewhere-- so why not the comment section of the beautiful extension of a gorgeous song?
