I remember watching that series live where GSW lost to LAC 4-3 in 2014 and how disappointed Steph looked when they lost as he was leaving the court. It really stood out to me because it wasn't just an average look of feeling disappointed from losing unlike any i've seen from another player. Crazy enough he ended up doing the crazy accomplishments he did the years following.
@larryzeldin7561
@larryzeldin7561 5 ай бұрын
What was the accomplishment next year besides getting through the west finally? Warriors beat a cavs team without irving and love. Lebron himself stretched that series to 6 games. Then they went 73-9 and lost a 3-1 lead. Then got KD for help and karma bit them in 2019. The way the Cavs didn’t have their star players warriors went through the same thing,KD out and klay if I’m not mistaken. Curry I think played through an injury too.

He could and did get stopped it was KD going there that made them, not him, unstoppable. Let's tell the truth a bout it if KD would have gone to Cleveland and played with LeBron would the Warriors have won another championship? The would not have won another one, the one won the first one because there was no Kyrie or Love. Iggy was the MVP, and Steph wasn't happy about it you could see it on his face when they named Iggy the MVP. Steph should have gotten and would have gotten it if he didn't struggle in a couple games, the last one included. He is a bad dude and a great dude, this person who put this together is just stirring the pot. I wanted to see Steph get his first finals MVP against Toronto because he is a class act on and off the court. What I heard from LeBron was, "He's just like me he can't be stopped".

iSwiiss he wasn’t called the goat by the media, he proclaimed himself the goat after the 2016 finals but after the warriors beat them in 2017 most of the media said he still wasn’t the goat. But some of those same few guys in the media now want to say he’s the goat? How when he hasn’t done anything since 2016? He showed a lot of arrogance by getting a “chosen one” tattoo before he made it to the league, dances on the side of the court while they’re winning games but yells at teammates and whines when they’re losing, had to make a whole hour long tv special just to say he wanted to move in free agency, mocked dirk of being sick, then got clapped by him in the finals... just to name a few things.

The "decision", the flopping, the ref whining when said flopping doesnt work, demanding team to get players to supplement him, demanded coach be fired so he could walk all over the new coach lue, blames teammates for loses, cares more about his legacy... I always hear that Steph doesn't get the respect that he deserves....and I totally disagree......however I do acknowledge that players don't openly show the respect. But the real fact is, Steph doesn't need them to "give" him respect......because he MAKES his opponent respect him. When a dude can take one step over the half court line and drop 3"s on you all night long.......then you HAVE to respect him. I don't care how you pretend when you're doing a interview, they all have mad respect and fear Steph's game.

It is sad when you see a man jealous of another man as James is of Steph. It boils down to the difference in how they both were raised. Steph was raised by two parents who met in college then married, a Dad who led in the top of the NBA league, and a mother athletic in her own right. The Curry kids early foundation was being raised in the church. So they grew up learning not to be jealous, to study hard, develop their talent, to lift others up rather than tearing others down, and always offer a helping hand to the feet walking behind them. They knew that there is only one greatest of all time, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, and to be grateful for His blessings. It is like night versus day between James and Steph. James could learn a lot from Steph in how Steph walks in the Light rather than the negative darkness with jealousy. May Steph keeping going forward and ignore James’ noise.

Wast it Kobe who told shaq there is a ME In team lol and MJ while he valued his team knew they wouldn’t win it all without him definitely not 6 rings in 2 3-peats and wilt also had a similar mentality. No ones saying they could win it with out a team but to say that a team could win it without them when most of the players mentioned put up 35-50 points during play offs plus assists and steals and rebounds would be insane. You can even see just how much those players had a huge effect look at the cavs record without Lebron or GSW without steph. Granted yes some of the teams tanked on purpose but they definitely wouldn’t have been 70 plus game win teams. Shit the closest a team came to winning without their star player was the 55 win pipen- lead bulls and they still couldn’t pull off the clutch shots needed to take it all in the play offs
