Going to Paris at the end of this year. This was super helpful. Great video and I especially like that you called out the things that weren't so good in addition to the good things. Too many videos claim "EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS DELICIOUS!" and it makes it hard for me to take their recommendations seriously.

Have a great trip! It’s always hard criticising food or the place where it’s served. And we try our best to really think it through before we put in the critical stuff. We know how much work goes into it and just how complex and dynamic food can be. Thanks for the comment, we appreciate it!

I don’t know if you’ve been before, but I visited ‘My Sweet Rawmance’ with my husband- it’s near to the sacré cœur and I thought of you when I was there! I really enjoyed the food :)

I stayed in the 7th. Paris lived up to the hype for me. Montmartre is a tourist area. I believe that is where Paris Syndrome comes from. I also loved Land and Monkeys but I got the quiche and pastries. I went to a different location. The location in the video is much larger. My quiche had vegetables in it. The coffee was good too. Your food descriptions are very good.

Do you need to tip at restaurants in Paris?

Just check if the bill has a service charge included in it. If it does, no need to tip. If it doesn’t, then it will be good to leave a tip. 😊
