Andy Mushietti directing Brave and the Bold gives me hope. The Flash had some of if not the best Batman scenes in any of the DCEU movies and that’s including the warehouse scene in BVS lol

My guess is with the Arkham show being DCU is Matt was originally planning under old WB to make it The Batman related but as we know he wants to keep his Batman stories relatively grounded as well as the characters in it. My guess is when he pitched it to James Gunn he tweaked it into the DCU so this way Matt can get to play around with the more fantastical Batman rouges like maybe Man Bat, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, a 10 foot tall Clayface and since DCU Batman is already established it helps build out that Batman’s mytho’s more so they don’t have to do it in The Brave and the Bold. The fact that Matt Reeves is doing his own The Batman stuff AND doing batman stuff for the DCU is amazing and I think a great idea. I’m just really excited to see what James has been cooking.

Im so excited for the DCU. It feels actually planned and with a path and connecting characters and plots. I like how every project has inspiration from actual source material and a vision like arkham having a "horror tone" or supergirl "science fiction epic" to make each project feel distinct but all the while being in the same universe. Im really hoping the DCU succeeds and follows through. But it can all still go to shit and also depends on how much studio suits interference there is 😮‍💨 DC fan all the way though so hoping for the best for the DCU 🔥

I am interested in Supergirl production design. The comic has very imaginative world and color blast. I will love to see how it will transfer on big screen.

I so happy when he was brought back for “the suicide squad” I was crushed when he died and hated peacemaker for it. I really like most of the news here, but starting Robin with Damian is such a mistake. Each Robin’s core concept doesn’t makes sense without the previous one, and having Damian with Grayson and Tim Drake to inherit the mantle from is just sad.

I love James Gunn and what he’s doing but instead of making movies about unknown characters he should be doing it for UNDERRATED characters. I’m talking Nightwing Donna Troy and Wally West. Characters that are somewhat known but aren’t held to as high of a degree as they should be
