To be fair, using the ejector on the M1917 revolver would be kinda pointless. That's because, while you _can_ fire the gun without the half-moon clips, you're normally supposed to use them since the M1917 uses .45 auto, a rimless cartridge, so the ejector doesn't work without the clips.

M1928A1 Thompson actually did lock back on an empty STICK magazine. Not on a drum tho. M1918A2 B.A.R. had a carrying handle.
