There was 3 major sins not addressed in this video 1) Snake eyes having lips, and semi open mouth like he is shocked the entire time. 2) The subs crashing into the gate like they are aircraft 3) ICE FALLING UNDERWATER!!!!

It seems snake eyes’s mask is made of thick rubber, so I believe the mouth mainly serves as a breath whole, and that explains why it is always semi open. They also wanted to create an illusion that the mask was so tight it made the lips visible. Still, I agree with you. The lips look very stupid, they should’ve discarded the “tight mask” idea and put some real breath holes on the mask (like the sideshow figure).

What I'm saying is the mask has facial features that in itself isn't race related the fact the character under the mask is white in a certain light could be seen as a form of blackface and I mean rare circumstances I think if snake eyes walked into minneapolis in the last few days and took off his mask in front of a full on race/police brutality riot it wouldn't matter if he could speak cos he wouldn't get a word out. A rare instance where it could be taken as racial! Nothing more Also before u start getting ideas of an angry race debate cool it I'm from scotland where we don't have racism have sectarianism thats 2 groups killing each other over wether god wants us to be nice and drink tea a lot or sing songs about how good he is to him every weekend and serve up young boys to his white collared Sunday workers

Not in this movie it doesn't. Watch it. There's a scene where the Ice cap above the gets blown up and Ice block start falling on the base below, forcing them to dodge falling/sinking blocks of ice.

When they first came upon the base and tried to figure out how to get in, Breaker states that there's all kinds of structures within the ice. This is what caused the ice to sink, however, the structure within wind gave to be pretty darn heavy to counter thre ice's flotation.

If you've ever ridden a motorcycle in the rain you'll know raindrops feel like tiny rocks at speed, so the sunglasses actually make sense in this scene if he's not wearing a helmet

Agreed. If he hadn't been identified as Cobra Commander in this movie, I wouldn't have thought that's who he was playing. The character as it sits is kind of fun.

@@graymulligan exactly the doctor is a fun character who's whole thing is science for sciences sake no moral boundaries or goals beyond them. If they wanted to stay close to the comics they should've just made the commander a man who lost his son due to the Joe's, whether through inaction on their part or he was a member of the Joe's and cc wants revenge on the Joe's for it. I think another important detail would be if we never learn who cobra commander is other than his alias because that's kind of a big deal, to me at least.

@@gobzdzilla I mean, it's not TOO horrendously far off one of the Scottish dialects, it's just badly hammed up. Lots of your average Scottish people don't pronounce half their consonants, which yeah, makes it hard to understand. Making it a BAD accent doesn't necessarily fix that. Making it a CRISP accent, one that is accurate but with better pronunciation, does. In fact, it makes it sound more serious and therefore better suited for a villain. (Honestly i just hope that his character in the cartoon has a Scottish accent, otherwise i think it was a poor decision to give him one in this film, but that's just me. I'm guessing it really doesn't matter much for anyone living outside of the UK or even just outside of Scotland. But Jeremy said "is this a bad accent?" so as a Scottish resident i answered "yup" haha)

He's an actor, he must know that the way to get a natural unremarked upon accent is to underplay rather than overplay it, so it's clearly a stylistic choice. A wrong one.

I remember as a kid watching GI Joe cartoons and noticing that when a Cobra soldier was captured they would show him in a prison cell but the animators still drew the grenades hanging on his uniform...really nice things to have while in a prison cell huh?....and of course whenever a Cobra plane got shot down they always had to show the pilot escaping in his parachute....they keep fighting each other so long because NOBODY DIES in any episode!!!

But Duke does need those sunglasses because otherwise the raindrops would be hitting his eyes at whatever speed the bike was moving at.

Honesty I like this movie better the the sequel. This one is more camp and fun. The other just tries too hard to be "serious". That plus the ending with The Rock just blowing up the case causing all the satellites to explode is the definition of lazy writing. That alone makes me hate it.

That's my opinion on this as well. It was dumb fun like the first Transformers film, but not insultingly stupid like the Transformers sequels. I skipped G.I. JOE 2 simply because it killed off or recast all the characters.

The only thing I liked about the sequel was Storm Shadow lived, and didn't lose. Down side of that was he became a good guy. the rest of the movie just didn't hold a candle to the first one. The first one is bad, but heck it kinda reminded me of Star Wars with the end battle so it was just enjoyable to watch.

You forgot to sin the part that I think sums up how dumb this movie is. During the attack on the military convoy at the beginning, that Cobra craft shoots and destroys one of the helicopters and as debris of the destroyed helicopter is practically falling out of the sky, the pilot of the other helicopter says _"Pioneer One, you've just been hit!"_ The last time I watched this, it was with my mom and when that scene happened, I literally shouted *_"NO FUCKING SHIT, SHERLOCK!"_* Immediately after, my mom proceeds to laugh her ass off and proclaims that to be the dumbest line in a movie she's ever heard in her life.

Simple Answer helmets aren’t mandatory in every state, but wearing some form of eye protection is. But riding a motorcycle w/o a helmet in the rain while wearing sunglasses is a bad idea.
