Ghostface being two different killers really is one of the greatest movie twists ever. Nobody honestly could have seen that coming when trying to predict the murderer. I feel like a lot of people also ruled out Billy as a killer before the reveal bc he showed so many signs of being a killer that they thought Wes was making him the red herring. Great bit of trickery.

6:57 2 reasons why Billy and/or Stu would go after the principal. 1. By the end of the movie, it's clear that they've both gone off the deep end. They're going on a killing spree for more than just revenge against Sydney's family. They're killing for fun. They'd go after the principal for the same reason they go after most of their victims, because they enjoyed it. 2. More importantly to the story, though, when they put the principal's corpse on display, that's what clears most of the guests out of the house party, thus setting the stage for the climax. So, when they kill him, they're actually planning ahead.

@davidcici11Evolution3 жыл бұрын
Well these grown men portraying teenagers actually displayed how teenagers would react when the plan is executed all the way until the grand finale. It low key makes sense why this was retconned in Scream 3 making Roman the Mastermind. It was a revenge plan a year in the making. They did almost get away with it but they allowed their head to get in the way of things pun intended (Stu got TV on his head Billy got shot in the head). The plan revolved around Sidney after all every little detail was. So I can see why even though they seemed like they were trying to kill Sidney throughout most of the movie they had no real intention of doing so if anything scaring or injury was the main goal. Not until the final act at least.

Roman could have helped Billy to kill Casey and Steve, and he was definitely the one who was following Sidney in Ghostface costume while at the same time Billy and Stu were at the videostore. Obviosly in 1996 Wes didn't made up Sidney's brother yet, but this theory fit extremely well in the first movie

That wasn't the Prescott's property that Billy or Stu was running around in broad daylight, it's heavily implied that it's the Riley's house (make sense since Sydney was staying there and also makes sense in that Dewey would live right in town with quick access to the sheriff's station) since we see the Prescott's home earlier and it's much farther removed from the town proper. Not hard at all to imagine Billy and Stu quickly moving around the town center where the Blockbuster, the market, and the Riley's home are all presumably in close proximity.

There are certain rules that a killer must abide by in order to successfully get away in a Scream movie. For Instance. #1. You can never get overconfident. If you underestimate a victim, then you'd never know if they will be a final girl or her nerd friend. Okay. #2. The best killers are the ones that have less screen time, okay? It makes them seem supernatural. So don't just chase a Sidney or a Sam for hours on end. You'll oversaturate yourself. Okay. And #3. THE MOST IMPORTANT RULE OF ALL! Never ever EVER under any circumstances reveal your identity and expect to get away with the murders 'cause you'll only get in the end, a bullet hole through your skull. Break one or more of those rules, and you're dead.
