9:01 I like to think of this as specifically how Tails remembers this going down. Given that each version of each cutscene has slightly different dialogue. Tails is scared because Eggman is a lot more threatening to him without Sonic by his side.

Yeah, one of the main reasons why I like the overall presentation of Sonic Adventure is that every story is taken from the respective character's perspective (and memory), to the point where entire lines of dialogue are different. It makes it feel like one big movie where everyone's just remembering what happened after the fact, which makes the story telling that bit more interesting as a result.

this imo is something that's often overlooked about SA's storytelling, even when Tails is with Sonic Eggman still has different, more menacing sounding dialogue its extremely subtle and one of the best things about SA to me

The funny thing is that they didn't make a new environment for the Sonic Tails flashback but they DID for the Sonic Amy Flashback which ALSO had different models. You could argue that that flashback was only a few seconds but still.....

Big The Cat has the most souless, unexpressive, and oddly unnerving eyes and facial expression in the game. I feel like he's secretly a serial killer or something and Froggy is his prisoner that's why he keeps running away.

It's explained pretty clearly why Froggy is running away from big, he's hypnotized by Chaos's tail and is trying to get to Chaos to reunite the tail.

17:10 Actually it IS explained why Froggy ran away...sort of. I think. Maybe. I dunno. But the explanation is that Froggy, somehow, got possessed by Chaos' tail. No, that makes no sense either, so it's a sin as well, but at least it explains why he ran away during the main storyline.
