The sad part is that constant arguing is considered character development.

In real life, I consider whiny-ass people to be shallow, boring, hardly worth my time most of the time. Despite being a cartoon, that attitude carries over to Raphael, too.

Raph is in red. Seriously. Red is a design/marketer's dream color. Its a color of passion, anger and fury, aggression, etc. So its easy to assign those traits to a character with visual cues like that. Leo and Donnie's personalities can be completely interchangeable based on whatever incarnation of turtles is watched. Michelangelo is kinda trademarked for being a big kid. Raph is the Wolverine of the brothers for no other reason than he is in red.

while that dosnt makes sense, i watched a cartoon called the devil is a part timer. in that they talk in another language for a bit, with no sub titles. you have to guess what they are talking about. so i say speaking in a language i can understand, even if it dosnt makes sense is better then the opposite. also he did use some device to awaken them, could of made it so they could speak english.

I understand there being conflict within the team, I'm just annoyed how the conflict in this team is always he same. It always seem to be 'Raphael values fighting and winning while Leonardo values teamwork and morals. They disagree but eventually end up working as a team again'

SingleLeg The rivalry has existed since the comics. I'm guessing you grew up on the 1987 cartoon, and didn't even know the comic existed until much later.

I know about the comics (and read some but didnt grow up during that time) and the rivalry is important, I just think its a bit lazy to still be relying on that rivalry as the focal point of inner team conflict.

I used to love TMNT and then I kind of stopped, but then I watched this movie and I KNOW it's bad, but after I watched it I started getting back into the series/franchise again. They tried to base it off the then current comics from 2001 to 2009, but those comics weren't very good in terms of release...it was cancelled in 2010. Now we have the ones by is a from 2011 onward. And there are great.
