Just gonna put some things out there. I hope this doesn’t sound mean or like criticism. Sans sleeps during the actual course of the video game. It adds to his lazy character Sans’s mouth shape stays virtually the same because in the game, his mouth shape doesn’t change. His mouth doesn’t even move. Also the black backgrounds were used because when fighting or encountering a monster, the background changes from your location to black. The reason Chara was a ‘being’ and then possessed Frisk, is that Chara was never alive during the Undertale playthrough. The only way Chara could even speak to the player was the fact that at the end of genocide, Chara is in split control over Frisk’s body with the player. Sorry if this sounded a bit rude. I just wanted to point stuff out. Have an awesome day.
