Also, I worked at a local park in Florida called Fun Spot and I can confirm, you do need a ride operator for 99% of the rides. Even the kid rides in our park had Aux Start buttons you had to press along with a switch. You also had to keep your foot on a starting peddle for the entire length of the ride. Edit: Believe it or not, the most realistic part is the little one shooting the control panel and the ride stopping. With that specific ride (usually called "The Power Drop" or "The Screamer") it locks in place if electricity from the control panel is cut. Pressing the emergency stop for example stops it regardless of where it is on the vertical track. So by shooting it, she caused a malfunction which in turn caused the control panel to cut power.

Those rides reminded me, earlier this year in July me and my friend were at an amusement park on a small ride that just lifted you up and down and spun, and as we reached the bottom and we're going back up, we heard the ride operater say "Oh shit that didn't stop it." Before running off to go get a supervisor. We were on that ride for like 10 minutes.

Maybe, it isn't as much noise that attracts them but instead it's muscle memories and old thoughts and such. Examples: They're used to opening doors and car doors and remember going to the public toilets while in town so stop in occasionally out of habit, then not really know what to do unless alive people are in there, which explains zombies chilling out in places and waiting. Shop owner remembers the bell means "customers" and heads to greet them, then Zombie mode kicks in when he sees they are alive. They turn on the theme park and people go "Oooh fun!" come running because they might have visited in the past, then once they get in and are excited and see the alive people, they go into zombie mode.

Ah, yes. This movie gave me and my family so much rage. It was a fun comedy for us, because we counted how many times these people would've died in there xD

i want to add something: the zombies here are different from the walkers in walking dead. the zombieland-zombies are just fullout mad bse-people while walkers are reanimated dead bodies. therefore its is not unrealistic for the zombies to have a slight bit of intelligence. like being able to run, sneak, open doors, prey and so on. people also do not turn into zombies when they just die. they have to be bitten. otherwise they just die

When I was a sophomore I worked at a local theme park for a summer job and yes you can set rides on certain timers on some different rides but that feature is not on many of the rides so it's likely they are both on the rides

As someone who works at a Universal Studios theme park - yes, you would need someone to at the very least, press a button to turn on a ride and depending on how the maintenance is for the ride, you might be stuck in your lapbars. Here’s an example - for Islands of Adventure at Cat in the Hat, you would need to have your seatbelt on and press the button on the control panel to go - you could have it that one of them gets right on as it’s about to disembark, BUT if you fall, you’ll get electrocuted. And you will have to have someone there because the ride vehicles will pile up at the unload station - which would also need to have someone there. For arguments sake, let’s say that there is only one ride vehicle on the ride - because of how old it is, your lapbars might get stuck and if you see zombies coming towards you, you will panic. So...yea unless they have telekinesis, this wont turn out well.

I think the reason that some of the most important rules are later down the list is because Columbus just made rules of the things he saw.
