Great video, PACKED with information!! This my 3rd summer of gardening in Biloxi, Mississippi, few blocks from beach. Plenty of cucumbers& green beans. Watermelon and pumkin vines with some fruits. Collards are huge but battle with slugs. Perilla is best for growth and no pests. Heirloom tomatoes okay but some pests. Okra germinated so fast with storm days. Avocado died down last winter but came back! Sadly, 5 mangoes did not come back. Pineapple survived winter and Cavendish Banana also. Papaya and pomegrante are young in containers. 93° today and can see some plants, like the veggies are starting to struggle. Peas died days ago. Cuban oregano, black turmeric,thia basil& ginger love these temps. Thank you for video on summer heat plants. Zinnas are growing like weeds!! Lol.

I’m so happy I found your videos. I’m new to gardening and jumped full in full without really knowing everything especially about pests. Now have to step back and learn how to protect my plants. Had a friend who would trellis Sugar baby with panty hose and string on a fence horizontal or laterally . As long as you keep the foliage off the ground it stops so much desease and bug 🐛 problems because it also gets it eye lvl which helps spot pest 18:25 18:25

Its too hot which causes the flowers to drop. This is the end of our tomato season in FL. Transplant more at the end of August or early September to grow during our fall, winter, and spring. Thats the best time to grow tomatoes for FL.

Zone 10a here trying to grow some food. Would love to know your typical daily routine in your garden. I’m still unsure if I’m over focused on my veggies and watering them or under focused on them. So far, my results are hit or miss.

My routine changes so much depending on the season. Right now I go out in the early morning to water of needed. Then I come back out in the evening to treat for pests, diseases, harvest, or sow/plant something.

I must say you put out a lot of information in a video. I will have to watch a couple of times. I only plant one big crop in this summer heat, pole lima beans. I plant just after the 4th of July, a 40 foot row. The bean grow on trellis netting in the July rains. I use a soaker hose in the hot Aug/Sept. drought and when it cool in late Sept. they start to set pods.The Oct. rains return and I start harvesting the pods in 70 degree weather till frost comes in Dec. I will freeze enough to last all year. I grow Miss Violet's Multi-colored beans, just saving the seeds form year to year.
