Honestly, they should put past story missions in the records next to the postmate next to the new light campaign. They should also rotate past raids in legends playlist

​@@zachrohler1047 I'd say if Bungie said the word Stolen content instead of Vaulted content, people would've actually said a whole lot more... probably involving something along the lines of threatening to sue because that's basically what it is. Even though it's technically "LEGAL", it shouldn't be because of that whole document thing at the beginning of the game that everyone skips. You know? The whole, "By accepting this blah blah, you swear that any and all decisions made by Bungie are legal/okay/fine." In all honesty, how can people just be so fine with this in the first place? They're taking our content! Money! People just roll over and are completely fine with the idea that over 120$ of our stuff is just taken. And btw there is no Destiny content vault. They removed it forever. Delated it. Gone. Look at Mars, we had to pay for it during Season of the Seraph to run around on the planet...AGAIN. Oh, but it's okay because Bungie Promises to give it back to us. We don't know if and when they'll give it back, but they Promise that they will. Isn't this just a highly sophisticated form of theft?

@@harrisonczichas3416 except the fact we never owned any of the content in the first place, we gained access not owing it, so bungie still has every right remove or add content as they please, and they removed all the content that people hardly ever touched or played, escalation protocol became the cat farm before shuri chi because how easy it is was to start and how efficient it was, we don't need everything returning for destiny to be good again, yes it's sad, but I'm honestly glad they vaulted content

@harrisonczichas3416 I'd say there would be more complaints about the game having 70 hour loading times, exponentially longer and bigger updates all for a few locations that had no current story impact nor did any players actually play. They didn't do it for shits and giggles it was a technical reason

It has literally gotten worse since Activision left. Battle passes, deluxe dlcs, fucking paid dungeons and paid events. Fuck outta here.

I just started playing recently, and the amount of holes in the story has caused me to not really care about it. i've ended up just skipping most, if not all of the cutscenes.

Bungie's fall was a foretold tale when they released DLCs for Halo and when they left Microsoft to make Destiny 1. It is a shame, because I respected them so much

Warframe has a version of it. For the prime frames and weapons, they get vaulted temporarily. They cycle between them. But they dont get outright removed. Folks still have them, you can still use the relics you got during that cycle to farm the peices, and they cycle through every few months. It's not anything you paid for

@@zachrohler1047 yea i started playing warframe recently and its pretty good but the prime access stuff is cringe, nowhere near as bad as removing 75% of the game tho like bungie

Warframe got rid of raids too unfortunately. I'm sure they'll reprise them down the line.

@@zachrohler1047 Not sure if this is a positive counter point or not but players who have farmed up prime BPs do still rotate them on the market so that there is still *technically* a way to get a prime even while it is vaulted. Which in itself is still better than Bungie who would have probably just told you to throw it away cause it doesn't matter anymore like they did with other things in your inventory.

It’s ultimately why I quit, it annoyed me a lot cause I felt like I get losing stuff I payed for and hated how the community would try justifying it by saying “people don’t play it anymore.”

@@BueorrFalhen that doesn't make much sense, idk what dlc you're talking about but $80 sounds like an dlc + annual pass price which means if a season ended you would already have the next purchased. Also the dlc's are still playable today. Forsaken, shadowkeep, beyond light, witch queen you can all buy for a reduced price and play fully today. stop lying

Most game developers and publishers don't do file compression, They could bring back past content, it just takes more work than they want to do.

WoW has now 130GB on my PC due to all the content downloaded (without mods). Despite being Activision/Blizzard, you can play classic servers until Wrath. ESO has over a 100 with an extra 80 to be able to download updates/content. FFS, the Sims 4 has 130 GB so far including 14 expansion packs, 12 game packs, and 45 stuff packs and kits. Not a single one has been taken away. And this is EA! Custom Content doubles that game size easly. Yes, it is a singleplayer game, but given its size, the player base and the year all these games came out, compare all that to Destiny 2. Bungie is only vaulting out of repurposing shit to get more money. Anyone who keeps playing or buying into that shit is co-responsible for a continuous content-removing and also animating other publishers to do likewise. Their decision to make it Free-to-play was already insane and an obvious money grab. So this video is pointless, since its audience are like 90% of current Destiny 2 players that will keep playing and buying. Stop playing and buying their shit and you will have your content back in no time.

Tell me how it’s worth it when I payed $60 for this game in 2017 and what I payed for is all gone no access to any of it and I can’t even play trials. Then they have the audacity to say free to play. It wasn’t free to play for me where my content that I paid money for. The people who bought even more expansions than me should be even more furious. My friends telling me download destiny. I do and everytime I want to do something paywall. He was defending this shit and coming up with excuses; like activision was holding bungee back. Far as I see it back when I played at launch the worst thing was buying loot boxes. Now it’s battle passes, expansions, and dungeons.
