I have been watching vids on changing tires on F150s and you are the only one to show the lift point on the front tire. When I bought my truck, last week, there was mention of an arrow on the frame, but no explanation that it was a hole in the frame. Thank You!

This video is still helping people, like me for example. I'm a first time F150 owner preparing to drive cross country and wanting to confirm air pressure in my spare. Key learnings from the video and first experience. 1. It actually is tricky since you can't really see what you are doing. 2. There is a guiding funnel of sorts underneath the bed that starts ~9" in from the bumper. The actual engagement between the big end of the rod within the funnel and the turning bolt occurs a little more than one rod length in, thus the need to use TWO rod lengths minimum. 3. The video is correct that you have to point the rod slightly left. I learned I also needed to aim the rod slightly upward. After these things, easy peasy. Thanks again Weekend Woodsmen.

Great job on this. Funny thing is, I came looking for any tricks to get the jack back into its mount behind the seat, as I was having difficulty. FYI - if you have the jack completely bottomed out (which is what I assume most people would do before putting it away) the jack will not seat in the bracket correctly. Raise the jack a little (maybe 1/2 inch) before stowing it, and that allows it to fit/stow correctly into the mounting bracket. Cheers!

Excellent video on how to use the jack and spare tire tool. My trouble is getting to the back of the seat, where all those items are located. We never did get to the spare, and ended up just getting the flat one fixed. I'm still looking for a video to show how to lower that back seat. THanks for the good info that you have provided.
@WeekendWoodsmen3 жыл бұрын
To get the back seat to lay down there is just a pull tab. There is one pull tab on the bottom of the seat to allow the seat to fold up and give more floor space and there is another pull tab on the seat back that lets you pull the seat back down.

As Kevin Moskal says the funnel is for filling your gas tank with a gas can. DO NOT TRY TO FILL WITH THE NOZZEL ON THE GAS CAN! It will get stuck and is very difficult to get out. Also it would have been nice to see you actually jack the vehicle up. My jack hook failed while jacking as it seemed I over torqued the hook connector to the jack. I wanted to see the effort you used to jack the vehicle. I'll keep looking, thanks for posting
