There's a really good tutorial by Vtuber Kappako here in KZfaq, it was really informative and helped me rig my character (*´ω｀*) (be aware, that the rigging process requires some degree of patience, I nearly lost my mind rigging mine-)

Late, but as an fyi for anyone reading this, That's not how things work with creative licensing if you paid for the model. 😬 You're paying for the model to be your property. If you're worried, you should sign a contract with the artist (which you should probably do anyway if you're spending that much) that outlines the deliverables, the cost, the timeline, and the rights both of you have (which can include things about whether there artist retains the right to post the model on their social media, whether you have rights to alter the model, etc, though most of this kind of thing is a given when it's for personal use). It's good to know a bit about copyright as a content creator so you don't accidentally use assets that belong to someone else and get in trouble😁 (learning about stuff that is royalty free, under creative Commons, available to use as long as you credit, etc)

thats preference, if you want a more fluid avatar you can rig one yourself or find someone to commission some programs allow hand movement on camera as well, but that costs extra money
