This is a realllllly good series, honestly. I hope you finish this for all the civs. It can serve as a fantastic baseline for the future, too. For example when a civ is changed you can do a short(er) 'updated meta playstyle' vid. But this vid will always be the reference point. Also great for getting views over a very long time. Lets go GAMERS

20:10 for any newcomers even though this might be late, the difference is canons don’t have a setup time. They just shoot right out the gate

Thank you, I don't know what I'm gonna do without your advice. Sooooo many things here, it hurts my brain. But I do notice that french crossbow is insane at the first I try it. I'm gonna use my brain just a little more to practice my basic combat.

i need this. i just got the game and as opposed to the open beta days, the meta builds are so established that even with decent macro there are so many "oh i guess i die now :)" moments.

I have been trying to properly play Rus for a while now and tried not to get tempted into picking English and Frech coz that's just selling my soul. But with this video out I just don't give a shit. I'll play french now. There is no incentive for me to play anything else.

Can someone imagine that i play with abbasid ,i am gold 3 and i can't win English and mongols but i can win very easy hre and french a little bit harder

Abbasid are good into French and are generally good vs armour due to camels.

I suggest you watch beasty's video on abbassid in season 2 and replace the first barrack by a stable, raly new vil to food instead of wood and produce like 3-4 horsemen. Your second TC is gonna be delayed but you'll have a response to english longbows or mongol horsemen/archers. If you're not getting attacked you can raid with them as well

Abbasid is S tier and are considered by most to be the best civ in the current patch. Your also a counter to French and HRE which is nice.

Hmm, not really sure I get the point of these videos. Feels like it's just less in depth version of what you say in your other guides and then you just read from the wiki.
