Stacking lightning lanes (book one every 2 hours, from anywhere, for later in the day) is a great way to do Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios. The modify button can be your best friend when it comes to lightning lanes. Enjoy!

Going to Disney World in January, and binge watching all your content! Would love to see a challenge where everyone has to play a role of a family member. Like thrill seeking teenager, character loving toddler, food lover parent, limited walking grandparent. Something like that and then making sure there are family moments and times to separate to get everyones priorities done! And role playing would be fun too

Cuz of you guys, I literally stacked my rides from 7am and didn’t wait for any rides at Disney World last week. Last time we were here, we only rode 3 rides after waiting hours lol. I felt like an expert XD !!!

Watching these videos helped me create a fantastic park strategy for our 3 day 6 park (including 2 @ Universal) crazy trip. We were able to use Genie + to great advantage without me having to stay on my phone the entire time and without crossing the parks too much. The one park hopping tip I almost learned the hard way is if you plan to hop don’t virtual queue. Just pay for the lightning lane. It would have been way less stressful. We almost ran out of time and missed Guardians which would have been HORRIBLE as it ended up being our favorite Disney ride. Luckily our boarding group got called at the last possible min for us to make our plans for HS still work. We didn’t feel overly stressed most of the time and even got to ride extra things we didn’t expect to have time for. Thanks for all of your scientific research Allears!!

Would love all ears to do a detailed explanation of DAS pass like this. I’m about to make a trip using it and I have no idea what to expect, I’m hoping it’s somewhat like genie+ since I’m familiar with it.

Not sure that it's possible, but I'd love a breakdown video like this for the DAS system and how it works with Genie + (if doing both is even possible or recommended). There doesn't seem to be a ton of info out there on DAS.

For those who complain about time wasted on the phone during park days using Genie Plus, I always say try to think of it as a game, where your prize is a lightning lane for the ride you want, around the time you want it. Using the modify button and continuously refreshing the screen to get the time you want can be a fun adrenaline rush when you have success. Fun to do while waiting in lines, for food, on a break, waiting for a show to start, etc.

To be fair, there’s a lot of people that don’t wanna mess with this convoluted system and be on their phone the whole time. The fact that the app does a poor job of explaining it and KZfaq videos can’t explain it in 7 minutes or less says something. People are totally justified in complaining about it.

Wait I’m confused so do you get access to each rides express lane that includes this or is it just a pass for two rides. Bc if it works for all the rides that are included I’m getting it but if it only is a pass for two rides I’ll have to think on it

This Genie+ BS allows only TWO Lightning Lane reservations per day, which is ridiculous! AND....it costs anywhere from $15 to $35 per day, per person!!! CORPORATE GREED at its best!!! Just another way Disney found to squeeze $$$ from people! 🤬

Question-If you have a child in the group but want to book a ride with a height requirement, does the app just book those who can ride or everyone in the group and then the child and one adult doesn’t ride? How does that work?

You can change the riders after making the reservation. We did it for my 5 yr old.

Has anybody tried using two separate devices at the same time with only one person to get both VQ and LL? I’m looking at Epcot for Guardians and then to book Remy but I’m solo. Could i do it on a phone and iPad?

If we have 2 different families going to Disney together, can we purchase genie plus on our account with our payment method, and then they purchase genie plus on their account with their payment method, can we all be linked as "friends and family" so we can book our lightning lanes and virtual together?

I was told when I went in 2022 that I couldn’t purchase genie+ because I had booked a package deal (flights, tickets and resort), is this still a thing? I was asked when on the phone changing my dates if I wanted to add genie+ and I had said no, and then we were going to change our mind and I asked at the resort but was told I couldn’t get it at all. We’re going back next year and I don’t want to miss out!

Perhaps they meant you couldn't add it on to your trip ahead of time? Typically you can just buy it right through the app and there are no restrictions on buying it based on a type of package

This is what confused me because the customer service rep I spoke to on the phone offered it ahead of time but the person in the resort when we arrived said I couldn’t add it at all

Lord.. why did they set rid of the fast pass.. I am going to Disney in July and don’t have the tension span to figure out Genie+ lol. I just want to go to the park enjoy the rides without waiting on lines. 🤷🏼‍♀️🤔🤦‍♀️ and you constantly have to use your phone… I hate it already

Why does every version of this video have to include a bit where Sage whines about how complicated it is? The point of this to empower people by saying "here's how and when to use it, and by listening to us you will have the confidence to use it correctly to enhance your vacation," right? I mean, if people continue to not use it because they're convinced it's too complicated I'm all for it - that will mean smaller wait times for me - but the obligatory complaining is more annoying than empathetic.
