ah, i just remembered it took me 3 hours because I did it during the identisk event with better EXP buffs, and I was able to one shot in Grandis! Thanks for the comment

looks like an insane update.. but man, im pretty sad about the whole "rush to 200" thing. makes the whole maple world feel pretty useless and even more dead. im so sick of the arcane river man. i really wanted some kind of exp scaling for old maps and quests, there's so many questlines out there that i havent experienced yet and some i'd love to do again, like mu lung and shaolin temple etc ;/

the popularity of Demon Slayer is insane so it will definitely make it to GMS but who knows they did Reincarnation of a Slime in Japan but never brought it to GMS.

Tbh without sounding like gatekeeping I don’t like the 0-200 main story quest update Hitting level 200 isn’t hard but there is a sense of pride in having 30 or 40 characters at that point. It takes some strategy and planning around events to be easy but it wasn’t broken to the point it needed to be given to us

As a new player, lvl 1-200 is learning the basics of your combos for some of these classes

0-100 is mostly learning some buffs and a bunch of attacking skills you'll likely never use.

Damn! I'm so glad I decided to give Ms another shot after the whole NA reboot and cubing debacle. This definitely sounds very promising and a step in the right direction! Now if only they could bring back party exp and party zones to make people more sociable and make grinding with others actually possible, it might go back to it's hayday but I have a feeling that's long gone. Oh well, still really great update! Ty for covering it duky

Holy shit, idk about most people, but not having to do some spreadsheet to schedule shit, and then FORGETTING ABOUT THAT SPREADSHEET. Just having a planner in game might actually get me to progress, I log in, do dailies, and just forget there is more game to do. That might be the biggest QOL for my ADHD brain.

one thing that's always unclear to me with these class burn events is can i use it on ones i have already? i got a 120 aran and 180 shade sitting around, but if its for new ones only i should just delete them before the event starts no?

5:00 The only potentially bad thing about the blitz 0-200 levelling is losing relevance for all the cool maps we have (Ludi, korean folk town, el nath, mu lung, magatia, etc.)

The point of number crunch is to solve an architectual problem with the servers of FFXIV not being able to handle large numbers. It has nothing to do with players being too powerful.

I would actually go as far to say the implementation they have for character swapping is not like any other MMO, and comparing that hotswap between characters to something like changing characters in WoW as the same system is just almost disingenuous. The Maplestory new character swap system is INSANE.
