Consent to facial recognition? I know through social media and KZfaq, that itself has many issues. I do have a digital footprint, and is something I am aware of, but that to get into a concert is odd.

Casinos in Vegas can do it without your consent. If your known gambler the camera can alert them the moment you walk into a casino.

If by general show you mean Postcard from Earth, No first come first serve. You pay for ur section when purchasing ur ticket.
