Thank you for this demonstration. I've been trying hard to figure this out, and as strange as it is, it does make sense that the one without the browser is the one that can do it... thanks again

nice little demo but after 4 weeks trying to use this, its hopeless at playing music, its clitchy, severe delays ,as not enough ram to make work smoothly. some times it plays great but if you try to select another Album it freezes...Update I have done a reset while on wifi, and it seems to have loaded the latest player, also i have deleted a lot of provided apps to help with the ram. I also did a new SD music data load (into the default Music file) and so far ,seems to be behaving if you do not press buttons to quickly as it quite slow by new standards

Useful demo-thanks. I've only had my Q5 model a few days to relace my old iPod player. The one thing that I am having problems is that I can seem to play an album from start to finish without it going into a playlist. I like all sorts of music including classical & I also like recorded radio programmes which need to be played from start to finish. I've spent ages trying to solve the problem. Assuming it's possible- Any ideas ?

i got as far as putting akp and the play store into the android file, but it says "Install blocked: for security, your "phone" is set to block installations of apps obtained from unknown sources". i makes sense that its build in, but i cant find my way around it it has a button to bring you to settings, but obviously they removed the way to enable it vie been digging through the android files but i cant find its setting, so im stuck there idk if you would have any ideas but i would appreciate it if you could help out

At round about 05:00 u say, u have to trick it into thinking the app was already installed. How do u do that? U can't enable installing apps from an unknown source and u can't enable USB debugging to install apps via adb from your PC. Could u explain further what u have in mind?

It's so difficult to use....it always jumps from my playlist to the "music app"...it plays what it wants....does anyone know how to use this without that "music app" that has by default??? FRUSTRATED..thanks in advance

I have the same problem. This device has a mind of its own. It is very difficult use. I cannot set continuous play. The player has the potential to be very good but the software stinks.

@@trevoraloysius hi, I realized that the best way is to put your songs in folders. I used to play songs from the “file manager” app but now I’m using the “music “ app, it’s the CD 💿 orange icon. I hope it works for you

Do you know what to do when they will not work? I have had mine for 6 months now, and now all i keep seeing is a black screen and an occasional multicolored TIMMKOO appear. I can't turn it off or restart it. And can't see it connect to the computer.

Does anyone know how to reset these or get past the password? My daughter added a pattern password despite my warning and has forgotten it. Happy to do a factory reset as most things are on the SD card and backed up to my MacBook.

@@mddramatist --- The device comes with Hiby Android App. If it shows the sideways "8" that's the Shuffle. If you tap until it shows an A inside of a Circle, that is "Loop The Current Album." Like an old cassette Tape player with "Auto Reverse."

Visiting the different places where this question has been asked, I'm beginning to believe the Q5 has more than one interface . . . when I tap the Music icon on the home screen, I get the folder view . . . with Internal Storage and SD Card 1 showing. I have tap the folder. I presently have my songs in BOTH folders (only adding them to the internal storage tonight). If I tap on SD Card, I see my songs. I was careful to name all songs in the same format "01 - Song Name", "02 - Song Name", etc. so they would play in the order I wanted. I see a circle with an arrow (play button) that says "Shuffle All". If I touch that button - either tap it or hold it down, it plays . . . in shuffle mode. I have no other options. I have selected all songs and tapped "Enqueue (next track), but it stills shuffles. I'm lost and frustrated and ready to give up on this thing. It seems nice, but it just isn't doing what I want. But thanks for replying.

I'm responding to you using my own Q5 and the answer to your question is when you play a song, a little bar will show at the bottom, right? Yeah, click it and there is a small button near the middle to the left and below. Click it and it will sort through shuffle an loop
