I had s co-worker from fort Wayne Indiana, he moved to California in 96 and drove his little Subaru all the way to Cali. He always tell the amazing stories of his life in Fort Wayne.

I have lived in this hell hole of a area for my entire life, and for one I can say, if ya gonna move here, ur gonna not like things on how they hit ya bill wise!~ You get storm water run off charges, even if ya addition has a retention pond, you are taxed or billed for stupid shit as well, .1c tip tax eating out for the coliseum which the remodel was done ages ago, but still going, the cops can be dicks at times, the roads are a abomination as they are always seemingly being repaired, the shootings are getting out of hand as of recent, there is some good places to eat like Mi Parillia's if ya like Mexican food, Jersey Mikes for subs, Portillo's for the CakeShake, Buffalo Wings & Ribs for the best dang ribs in town (get a loyalty card), the gun range at Midwest Shooting Center is really nice, do not try an call a Best Buy as you will get transferred to a call center and not connected to a store ever anymore, Glennbroke Mall closes at 6pm now after Covid-19.

I noticed Jersey Mikes never has a line; interesting. Also, love Midwest Shooting Center, been there many times. We're headed to Roanoke to try the outdoor shooting range there

Jersey Mikes do on Sunday & Monday at it's 2x pts day, so a Giant norm gets ya 12 pts now u get 24. If the Roanoake one is by a railroad track, the rule is no shooting while a train is going by, an the ranges are ok.

Actually the crime in Fort Wayne is way less than the national average and definitely less than major cities. I leave my doors unlocked. Probably shouldn’t but just never had an issue.

We have a school system that has a history of discrimination, covering up sexual harassment, and sexual violence, teachers making fun of disabled students, teachers and administrators playing favorites, and kids leaving with diagnoses of PTSD.

Honestly, we’re probably not the best judge on crime in Fort Wayne, speaking from personal experiences. Knowe lives is Huntertown and Caleb lives in Leo. I can say my neighbor keeps cutting my grass w/o my permission. Cause he likes the look of the diagonal lines in both our front yards. Honestly it’s our fault cause we keep paying him every time.

@@LivingInFortWayne I judge crime by looking at the ONLINE police activity log and ONLINE local neighborhood complaints. "Next door" app. It`s shocking and it`s everywhere now.
