Actually the bow tie becomes purple when you get Chica’s voice box, making it that every single upgrade adds purple to Freddy’s purple-less design (also funny how every single character except for Freddy has green and purple in their design) Also I think if it isn’t mike, the fredbear connection ties to Henry, too, bc we see that he wore the fredbear suit just as William had worn the spring Bonnie suit And, just because I think it’s some interesting food for thought: if it IS Michael, then that would make it where he ends up going from the kid who killed his brother to a future variant of the animatronic, so narratively, it’s an interesting parallel

Actually, on Freddy's first upgrade, it is put on him instead of the black one the only purple thing with no context is the hat

If that’s true, then I see the purple corruption as a way of Steel Wool showing us that, with every hacked animatronic part Freddy receives, he’s also becoming more and more vulnerable to glitchtrap/Afton/mimic/whoever 😅 also yes, love your interpretation for the representation of Henry possessing him that’d work really nice!

@@kingjonkle yeah, when he gets Chica’s upgrade, the bow tie becomes purple Monty’s claws have purple fingerless gloves Roxy’s eyes make the ui purple So I do think that’s the intent with it and Gregory hiding inside of Freddy adds to the Henry connection if it isn’t Michael BUT as MatPat says in his ruin prediction video, the wall codes seems to made by Henry (due to the descriptions of Edwin’s son’s language with the Mimic and him writing in it when he dies in the Storyteller, since Edwin is a parallel to Henry) and if Henry possessed GR Freddy, why would he be telling Gregory NOT to destroy his friends if he TOLD HIM through the wall code to do exactly that? And if it were MICHAEL, him seeing the others as his friends (possibly connecting to the masks worn by the bullies in FNAF 4? I’m not sure lol) actually makes a lot more sense: he doesn’t want to hurt the animatronics and is well aware of the kids’ souls in the prior ones, so he could possibly be wary of souls being in the other Glamrocks. Also, in a video I’m working on (it’s gonna be one of my first lol), I draw a few things to light with michael’s character: despite a common thing I hear of Mike bullying CC (I refuse to call him anything until we get a 100% confirmed name lol, but I do think it may be Garrett bc of the Fnaf movie, but I can’t be sure until we see it) for like, CC’s entire life, the story Step Closer specifically draws attention to Pete beginning to bully his brother after their parents’ divorce, perhaps telling us what triggered Mike’s bullying. I also bring up a few other things, but no spoilers :D Also, Step Closer ties Mike to Pete in numerous other ways too, so it is a logical conclusion to deduce since the 2 are undeniably connected Alright this abt to get long, so you don’t have to read it, but I do find it interesting Ahem! Michael Afton is the son of a narcissist - aka William Afton (sTeVe RaGlAn) - so (I recommend NotRealName NotAtAll’s video on the Afton family for a more in depth look at this idea! It’s a really good video and idk if I’ve put it into my underrated Fnaf playlist yet bc no matter how many views it has, I think it underrated lol) and the role of the Scape Goat child fits him to a T. With this, we know that he was 100% both mentally and physically abused (I mean, ol’ Billy straight up smacks the golden child, so why th would he not hurt his least favorite? Also, small digression, favoritism in parents sucks) and as I know an adult IRL who was the Scape Goat child, (actually 2 but I digress) I see quite a few things that I could see in Michael in them: specifically the mentality of “I hated it - why the hell would I do this to others?” and maybe the ptsd and panic attacks/anxiety (maybe we even see this in the Fnaf movie trailer? Idk I’m just spitballing) But how does this relate, I hear you asking. We’re getting there! I’m not quite fully prepared yet lol In the Survival Logbook, there are two things that stick out to me: Mike tends to have a dry/sarcastic humor to him, connecting to Mike Schmidt in the trailer, and he also has hearts drawn on the page about people you would miss. Either he was mocking the page or thinking of someone, but I’m not sure. Also, funny thing: foxy commonly represents the security guard in it. It’s him on all the pictures that separate nights. Just drawing a connection between Mike and Foxy Bro and furthering connections between Mike and GR Freddy (as the previous foxy bro connections and the whole thing with Gregory looking like CC) and solidifying evidence. Now: in SL, I feel like this is often over looked, but FT Freddy appears the most out of any of the animatronics (obviously I’m speaking as a threat. But he also ends up as the face of molten FREDDY, furthering Freddy connections to Michael in a more indirect format. Also, unreleased, just skip to the next paragraph if you don’t care, but SL came out the day before my birthday lol) In SL, the magazine “Screws, Bolts, and Hairpins” is brought up, and what do we see Foxy reading in the Survival Logbook (also SL for short. Just saying)? The same magazine. Also, small connection between Mike Schmidt in the movie and Mike: Clara represents Mike to some capacity (as evidenced by the Survival Logbook) and she mentions child support. Mike in the trailer gets a notice of delinquency (presumably for child support bc of Abby). Interesting, Hm? Anyways, Glamrock Freddy. He’s definitely not entirely robot. He takes things literally, too, which could possibly connect to Mike’s childhood, but GR Freddy also tends to be very… well, exposition-y. What does this have to do with Michael? (Well it also connects to Henry’s speech in FFPS, but I digress) Well, if he were to look at Gregory and think “man, that looks just like [CC]! What a strange coincidence. I should help him.” He would probably treat him similarly to how he treats CC pre-divorce. He probably would have been caring, but CC was a smol boi, and he probably would’ve been curious (thus why he most likely saw smth - small child curiosity) and Mike would’ve explained a lot to him. This is more of a connection through guesstimation, but still I thought it worth mentioning. Also, I’m just gonna say this bc nobody talks abt it: The broken mangle in the girl’s bedroom. This isn’t relevant to the theory, but I think it’s worth mentioning. There are two conclusions one can draw from this detail: a.) Elizabeth tore apart an animatronic in her room, perhaps either to impress William or bc she was interested in robotics. Maybe that’s why SHE was the golden child, maybe Mike was more into art (because he seems to be with the Survival Logbook). b.) Funtime Foxy either was designed and given to her as a toy, or circus baby’s already existed. Either way, still interesting. What are your thoughts? I would love to hear them!

Yeah that’s why I plan on my first video to be a trailer for a series of lore refreshers (in a way) (I’ve been working on episode 1 of a series called “FNAF Character Encyclopedia” bc I specialize in theorizing on characters lol and bc of this series ima end up single handedly voicing every single Fnaf character lmbo)

This theory basically makes the "Glitched Attraction" fan game into canon. Since we all know that ending...(I wish there were multiple endings in that game, I would like to see what a good ending would've looked like.)

Baby is also very good at animatronics (she made her body from scratch in fnaf6) that she is bound to get a cyber security job at the Pizza Plex. The real William Afton is actually present at the Pizza Plex as a new worker that people don't like, "Dave". When "Dave" and Edwin both worked at the pizza plex, they recreated the magic of the Funtime Animatronics as well as the scooper room. Animatronics that makes the toys, fnaf1, and the rocksters look like complete rip-offs of the real deal. With stronger AIs (Edwin's most essential trait), Stronger and more complex external designs (William's most defining trait thta exceeds him above Henry and Edwin), and could be used as vessels for souls (Another trait of William's craft). The timings of Cassie's, the new Susie's (she is at the Plex books), and Gregory's sudden existences line up too perfectly with the sudden introduction of Dave. Cassie's father owns a Faz-Wrench and do you know who has always owned a Faz-Wrench since fnaf2 to manipulate animatronics, William Afton. This works super well if you remember that OMC is actually William Afton, In UCN, Cassidy was exploring William's/OMC's memories/dreams of fishing with his children (Bill in Step Closer). William/OMC heavily advised her to save herself (and leave him behind).

@@bellslimes The big thing about Burn trap that easily revealed he was an imposter (the mimic) was lifeless eyes. Scraptrap also has lifeless eyes while Springtrap had William’s eyes of life for 30 or more eyes. William must’ve managed to eject himself from the the vessel like Ennard and Baby did in SL and the PS sourcecodes. So whoever it is we’re seeing might be the original possessor of the suit or an imposter planted by William Afton to deceive Henry Emily.

I feel like this entire franchise has been built on the idea that nothing is ever explicitly canon. When watching RyeToast's video on trying to construct the story using exclusively in-game evidence I was amazed about the amount of stuff that is still technically just assumed because of the books and has never been officially confirmed in the games timeline.

@@AdamGaffney96 most of the stuff is just assumed in general, not just stuff implied from the books. only a few things are canonically confirmed like william being springtrap and the bite of fredbear happening in 1983. even widely assumed theories like mike smith being micheal afton or fnaf 1 happening in 1993 were never confirmed. but Tales from the pizzaplex is almost confirmed to be canon and it would be the first(debatably) source explicitely stating canon facts with clarity, yet some people prefer to ignore them and believe in a convoluted lore

Both of your questions can be answered with the theory that the nights are nightmares Michael has after 3. You play as a small and helpless Michael being tormented by the animatronics that are trying to kill him irl and then tormented by the animatronic that he used to kill his brother and the guilt surrounding that (such as the random hospital stuff). Plushtrap is just this other nightmare that simulates the feeling of 3 basically being like "this thing is always coming towards you and you need to stop it in it's tracks before it attacks you." People can argue it's cc for a variety of reasons but I strongly believe it's: Michael having nightmares about his various jobs going back to his traumatic past as the gameplay Then CCs past as the mini games. Maybe these are other kinds of dreams, and the reason why they're 8bit is because as GF he is basically a robot (with one of those sticky notes written in binary at first, it could be said that the spirits essentially become sentient programs) or maybe it connects with how Gregory is so good at the arcades and arcades are typically 8bit (that's a stretch but just had the thought and wanted to include it). I hope that answered some of your questions lol

And Charlie's mask being present in the blob does make it possible for her to be around. Though I dislike that idea My point was just the fire bit specifically. Because its not as simple as 'the fire did not work' sense, from what Frights showed, it did and there was just outside factors at play.

From FNAF VR I was led on to think that Glitchtrap is a supernatural virus created when a haunted circuit board from Springtrap got scanned into a video game. But then the Mimic theory says 'oh actually the circuit board isn't haunted it's from a murderous AI with no motivations of its own besides watching William kill children in the past'. It just feels like a retcon, y'know? I think retcons can improve a story like how Sister Location retconned the FNAF 4 Dream Theory, but I don't see why Glitchtrap needs to be retconned into a murder machine with no motivations. The Mimic AI doesn't think for itself, while Glitchtrap has a decent motivation: it wants to live again. Besides the thematic problems the Mimic retcon would create, there're also plotholes that need to be addressed, like how the Mimic may have witnessed William kill children, or why the Mimic manifests as David's white tiger toy instead of Spring Bonnie. Some of the Tales boom have very obvious parallels to other FNAF content, like GGY and Patient 46, or the first Tales story matching up perfectly with a Fazbear Frights book. But the Mimic epilogues aren't that direct in terms of what they're paralleling. So yeah that should give you an idea about why I don't like the Mimic theory. I mean it's not like it'll completely destroy the FNAF games legacy or anything, but I just think there's no need for it to be a thing.

It's just that the message being in the room specifically associated with Mike makes he thing the message was somehow for him (it's obviously for Gregory so this isn't the case) or he wrote it himself, otherwise why have it in that specific room.
