Thanks for the awesome tutorial! I love making music and wanted to add some animation to it with my drawing tablet. I tried using Krita, but it didn't work well with the audio. Opentoonz is awesome!

hey when i copy something in a roaster level than resize it or change its rotation it loses its resolution is it possible to remove that

There is a button on the tool option bar of the select tool that says no antialiasing. Check that box and you should be good 👍

Question: I saw on another one of your videos you sketch in raster and do final animation in vector layer but you had a hard time adding color on vector layer. So do you not use vector layer for final animation anymore? How do you save animations to use in multiple videos? Thank you so much for your tutorials! 🙏🏾 I can’t afford the paid ones at the moment. Trying to start my own channel with short cartoons. This really helps

I don't think you can I use audacity to edit audio so use audacity for editing audio and then import it to opentoonz

Thanks for this video. If I didn’t want to redraw an entire new drawing for every frame, for example If I drew a person but only wanted to animate their hand waving, how can I copy and paste a frame and erase and redraw the part that I want to move, without it changing all the previous frames in the timeline. Or would I have to create the stationary drawing in one layer and then create the animated part in a new layer?

How do you go about cleaning up animations? Thats something that seems difficult to me especially if you use a lot of guide lines for face features and such.

I'm having a bit of problems with the palettes and colours. Every time I try to change an added style that isn't the original black one, it will still be black when I draw and when there's a drawing there. I'm using Tahoma2D which is basically another version of Opentoonz so other then a few wee things I'm not sure that's the problem. And if so what can I do in Tahoma to change it? I should also mention that I'm trying to do it in the project palettes folder rather then the global one, but I'm not sure how much change would be with those either. Whatever the case I'd appreciate the anwser because this is sort of driving me insane and I don't know if I'm just being stupid or not. Cheers

Hey, first of all: Thank you so much for this tutorial its a real lifesaver! But I don't understand what you mean starting at 10:05 with reframing it later and putting it on twos. I'm a complete beginner so maybe I'll figure it out (then I'll come back and delete the question) but so far I haven't and thought maybe I'm lucky and you still check the comments here

HEY FRUGAL THANKS SOO MUCH FOR THE TUTOROIAL it rlly help unfortunatley: when i tried to save my work i pressed save scene, save all and save as Too avoid loosing it but for some reason it went blank when i exited the save tab and exited the program. I wanted to re-check if all data is there then the next thing you know it is all lost. Do you have any sugestions i worked real hard in this 😭
