His videos are very high quality and they help a lot but is it just me or does he seem a little harsh with how he chooses to tell us stuff and he acts as if this is THE ONLY WAY like I get what he's telling me overflick and move to make up the difference but is it just me or does it seem better to track the target and strafe so even if the enemy makes unusual movements you simply track the target why cam't I have my own play style?
@Yes-dj6en
@Yes-dj6en 3 ай бұрын
@@jacobnunya7Cause its easy to fool yourself into thinking that you can improve with a certain action/exercise/routine etc. when you are not skilled in/ignorant of the intricacies of something. It happens to a lot of us. Not just in games, in pretty much everything. Also, if he isnt harsh, people will just do it and change it as they please, which will not let them improve. You have a better shot at improving by following what he does, you can develop your own style later on. Its like when people learn to draw, and they insist on 'doing it in their own art style' and ignoring fundamentals, even if all you want to do is draw manga faces, learn fundamentals first, otherwise you'll be stuck in that beginner-intermediate stage, never quite really reaching a level where you can draw what you want and is instead stuck imitating others without knowing why they do what they do.

I noticed when I first started with the previous aim training video that I didn't move and shoot at the same time when I first started, I interestingly adapted to moving and shooting at the same time the more consistent I became with training without even realizing it a few weeks later, so this is super important to point out for those just starting out.

I'm SUPER grateful for this follow-up. I can consistently get 20+ but I really struggle to reach 25. In particular, I'm so glad Hooj actually quotes a reaction time (150-250 ms). I've been doubting myself a lot thinking I had a slow reaction time (I'm middle-aged too which I thought wouldn't help matters). However, my reaction to the bot appearing is now around 170 ms, so I'm super reassured to know that I'm not too slow. Also, for those who are new to this, take this encouragement: when I first started playing VALORANT and doing this drill a few months back, I was very worried about my reaction time which back then was sometimes as high as 270 ms. I thought reacting as quickly as 170 ms was impossible, but now I can do that consistently. So if you feel down for being slow, keep practising! You can actually learn to react faster, though it may take a lot of practise!

I'm not a frequent commenter or watcher, but I found this helpful since I haven't seen your 'drill' video up until now and saw some similarities that I do (back when I was still grinding to immo) with my aim training back then. I say "back then" because I peaked asce 2 but went to get surgery so I was out for months and now I'm just stuck going back and forth from diamond 2 to plat 3. tldr: thanks very much for this vid since I'm really in a slump right now with the lose streaks and inconsistencies (and other personal stuff) in my game but now I'm more inclined to aim train like I used to again, much love mr. banana man because your vids always help me improve even though I haven't personally sent a vod myself

Great video, banana man. I bet it's gonna help a lot of people, myself included. However, I'd like to quickly clarify something that confused me in the video. On issue #6 at 6:15, you mention we should practice by ensuring we are flicking to the box in eliminate 100. However, at 6:27 you note that we should practice alternating to the inverse side on every other bot. Do you mean for us to switch between over-aiming and under-aiming? Or do you mean for us to switch between flicking to the left and right side of the bot? Intuitively I would have thought the former, but in the video, it seems you do the latter. I hope this makes sense.

First of all thanks Woohoojin, I got from bronze to gold 3 in 2 acts thanks to your help and a casual warm-up routine. Secondly I have a question to Bananaman and everyone else: Is it bad to aim with only wrists? I use around 640 eDPI, but I only move my wrist for movement, I don't move my elbow whatsoever. I tried lowering it, but with only wrist movement my current full swipe is around 140° (way over 90, but not a full 180), so it doesn't feel comfortable to lower it...

6:19 I have a question that might be dumb but here it goes. In theory, does this mean that if you crosshair is NOT within the green zone shown at 6:19, you should be moving and when its within the zone you start to micro adjust/use movement to get to the enemy? If that sounds confusing I'm sorry, I am a tad bit high. Here are 2 scenarios with steps, could you guys share your thoughts with me on my thought process? Scenario 1: You peek an angle and your crosshair is WITHIN the zone. I would then simply use micro adjustments with mouse and movement to get to the player's head and then shoot. Scenario 2: You peek an angle and you crosshair in NOT WITHIN the zone. I would keep moving while adjusting my aim with mouse to get it to the zone. THEN I would dead zone/stop moving, micro adjust with mouse/movement and then shoot. I like to overthink everything, hence my anxiety/depression problems lol

I just wondering if the thing with the microadjustments is if I'm only supposed to adjust vertically and not horizontally (meaning I need to stop on the head of the enemy horizontally only with the player movement) or if I'm also supposed to microadjust horizontally (independently if the crosshair lands on the head of the enemy or not)

Hey quick tip for everyone dealing with intermittent packet loss, after looking all over the Internet and nothing working for me, (try those methods as well if my fix doesn't work for you) but here is what I found my problem to be. If you have Nvidia low reflex boost or whatever it's called turned on, and an older GPU, Go into your settings and make sure you cap off your frame rate. I had my frame rate on unlimited and was getting around 500 frames or so but simply capping the frame rate to (I think) 350, completely solved my constant packet loss issues. Nothing I found online talked about this so hopefully this saves you hours of trial and error and even doing ping path tests etc to solve the issue lol.

Hooj I have a genuine question, my mouse y-axis dpi is 400 but my x-axis dpi is 1600. My fellow friends tell me that this is a limitation but in all honestly its comfortable for me. Valorant is my first fps and for 2 years out of the 3 I played I had a heavy mouse that weighed 105g. I took your advice and bought the superlight but hated it. I felt like it caught every jitter in my hand and I couldn't control it at all. I gave the superlight 2 months until I had enough. I bought the Razer Deathadder V3 and although it's essentially almost the same weight of the superlight (I think a tad bit heavier then the superlight) I had control because I changed the Y-Axis DPI. Is this to much? Am I really limiting myself?

Hey Hooj great video! I’m having a difficult time understanding the use of this drill. Is this for scenarios when you do overflick in games? Or is this a tool that you should try to do in games (intentionally overflick my target to use this). I can’t help but to feel like this contradicts the aim train routine underlfick>overflicking. Sorry if this is stated in the original video I’ll check that out. after I post this

Will your min and max recommended sensitivity thresholds vary with the amount of space on your mousepad? I did the mathy math with 350dpi at a sens of .31 which falls below your recs but any higher and I find myself overshooting a lot, but with a large mousepad I’ve dialed my aim in some time ago lowering the sens . I’ve made sure that mouse acceleration is off as well.
