Everyone has been preaching "buy now, stocks are at a discount" but I've been buying stocks since the beginning of the year and yet nothing's changed, but I've been reading articles of people still in the same market pulling off over 350k in just a couple months, what am i doing wrong?

You are not doing anythinmg wrong. The market is volatile at this time, hence i will suggest you get yourself a financial-advisor that can provide you with entry and exit points on the shares/ETF you focus on.

Yes its important. I've been in constant touch with a Financial Analyst for approximately 8 months. You know, these days it's really easy to buy into trending stocks, but the task is determining when to sell or keep. That's where my manager comes in, to help me with entry and exit points in the industries I'm engaged in. Can’t say I regret it, I’m 40% up in profits just in 5months with my initial capital of $160k

Thanks Mate, the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 19Bitcoin in the space of a few months... I'm especially grateful to Kerrie Farrell, whose deep expertise and traditional trading acumen have been invaluable in this challenging, ever-evolving financial landscape....

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850K.

The main focus for markets now is Nvidia, which has powered a large chunk of the S&P 500’s recent earnings. Nvidia’s stock, up more than 90% this year, rose 2.5% in New York on Monday, sending the Nasdaq 100 index to another record high. same here man.. 80K down the drain. in October of '29, I actually jumped 45 floors onto the sidewalk of 3rd street. But I picked myself up by the bootstraps, lived off soup kitchens for 6 years. After I killed Mussolini, I opened a pizza joint back in Manhattan. After the fire, I sold it to Domingo Domino. After Woodstock I opened an electronics company in my garage.

The thing that's great about Sprouts market is the produce. You can go there, get very reasonably priced produce, stay out of the isle (except to grab a coffee sample). You get very high quality produce at an excellent price.

For boomers and seniors, the market and economy are much tougher now. I'm used to just buying and holding stocks, but that doesn't seem to work well in this volatile market. Inflation is also hurting my portfolio. My biggest worry is if I can survive after retirement with only $300k.

The best on this list are BAM and AXP (I currently own both and am up 23% and 53% respectively). You should have a look at BN, KKR, ATD and EQB.

When to apply averaging down? If a stock price drops. you do not have to buy. The price may drop further. To determine the drop price, there is no ready-made formula. When a company "goes under", its stock valuation loses steam on the way, unless another company has a back door entry or buys at near liquidation price. How to surmount this problem? A better step would be to wait for the reversal of the trend. Close to winning formula, would be to buy the stock on the way up. Shore up your skills please.

I would love to see a video on Intel, Paycom and British American Tobacco. Do you ever do analysis on stocks from smaller markets? $EVO (Evolution Gaming from Sweden) has grown to be my biggest holding, because they have been on a down turn and I've been adding to my position since their numbers seem very good to me. I would love to hear, if I'm missing something in my analysis. Their growth is at around 20% yoy, fwd pe of 15, margins of 50%+, no debt. I understand that they have more regulation risk than most, being in the gambling industry, but the price still seems cheap to me.

It is funny, the video I watched before this stated cloning a great investor's approach was a key to success, using their F13 filings. My two cents on that, is that it may work for a guy like Buffett, who holds shares for a long time, but since you have to wait up to 3 months to know what he bought and particularly what he sold, it could still make the difference between great success and marginal success.

Ulta is expensive. It’s best to be able to see and try and smell the products before buying, so definitely a need for physical stores for that kind of merchandise. And you never know if you get the real thing or a knockoff when buying skin care and similar products online. But once people find out they can buy the same products at Target cheaper (or if Amazon starts penalizing sellers for selling knockoffs or watered down products), Ulta will go down unless they price match.
