I passed!! Thank you so much guys, I’ve been watching this video and other ones for at least three months and it definitely helped me a lot and today I passed my g2 road test on my first attempt. Guys try not to be nervous, pretend you’re just going to do grocery shopping and someone is showing you the way. Just a heads up, now the speed limit at this street 20:01 is 30km be careful and always look at the speed limits sign. He didn’t ask me to do parallel parking. I just did uphill roadside stop, three point turn and reverse parking at the parking lot. Good luck guys you can do this!!!

I passed here today thank to this video, watched it 3 times before the test and got the same route, same roadside stop, same 3 point turn and had to reverse park & regular park. Up hill park. I failed my 1st time at Victoria Park and Ill say its just 100% about confidence. Tell yourself your coming home with your G2 5 times in the mirror then 5 more times in the review, you got this!

test is in 4 hours. wish me luck edit: I PASSEDDDDD LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO tips: 1. pls pls pls check ur blind spots bc i nearly failed for not checking 2. know how to parallel park, reverse park, forward park. 3. i suggest reverse parking before ur test so they dont ask u to do it again when u finish. 4. SPEED LIMIT! 5. turning at red or green lights. i stayed still at the red light even tho i had some chances to turn. she told me to go hahahaahahahaha. but its ok. mistakes happen. good luck !!!

This video really helped me in clearing my G2 at first attempt. Neither I practiced nor I took any lesson from training centre and hence was nervous the previous day of road test. All you need is self-confidence. Remind yourself that its just a test so don’t make the mistake of getting nervous. I failed my G test (since I had driving extract from my country, I got chance to attempt G directly, skipping G2) I was scared n stressed, so I failed. But today, after 13 days, I passed my G2 in first attempt, reminding myself to stay focus and just follow all rules. I don’t want to comment like watching this video passed my test or something but sure it did helped & for that I appreciate that.. Thanks a lot.

I just passed my test today. Got asked to turn left from Sheppard into Bakersfield St, where speed limit is 50km except there's a section (St Regis Cres) with a sign for reduced speed limit (30km). I just kept 50km until I hit that 30km Begins sign. Had no issue. Just got told that my turning could be more smooth but still passed.

@@rosegold4452 I passed at my 2nd attempt. I failed the first one due to 2 main reasons: 1. I didnt park close enough to the curve in uphill parking - which I should blame my driving instructor. 2. I cut off an incoming bus. Actually it was stopping at the station, but while my body was shaking due to nervousness, I lost focus. The first test was at Downsview, the second one was in St. Catherines - less traffic anxiety for sure.

Same route but failed. My test is 9AM on Fri, super busy. Careful when turning right into main street guys, so many cars going, I didn’t see very clearly so I made a huge mistake. I turned right when there’s still car coming.

Had a very stressed out examiner for my g2 road test at downsview park. He came about 20 minutes late. Was constantly looking at their phone, papers, etc. When I finished the test, I was told I had done everything perfectly, but will be failed. After performing the manuvers, I was turning back onto the main street on a red light, once the way is clear for me let off the breaks and check my left first then right, and the examiner suddenly yelled at me to stop. We were stopped there for about 5-10 seconds and the light turns green for the pedestrians to cross. He told me I am to be failed for not yielding to pedestrians... now I have to pay the redo plus driving school fee totaling $310...

@@piketerritory244 Eyyyyy forgot to give the update. I Didddddd 🙏 Test was light but make sure you practice parallel and reverse parking! I was so focused on the parallel I barely touched a reverse before the test. Of course morning of there would be no cars to do a parallel with on the route. Kinda stress basically doing your first reverse park in the lot with the examiner in the car with you lol.

Quick question, do you have to know the route your self or does the proctor give you a gps that you follow or do they tell you when to make a left or a right?

It's also helpful to go through the route yourself much like this video just to get acquainted with the streets. But they do not expect you to know the route. They DIRECT you where to go and where to turn. They'll say something like, "At the intersection, make a left turn" or "When it's safe to do so, switch lanes to the right side" There is no gps, just their verbal instructions.

This was very useful! I did my test last week and everything went well except near the end... I failed to do a complete stop turning right on a red traffic light. So just a warning.. make sure to do a FULL STOP before TURNING RIGHT on a red TRAFFIC LIGHT. (Silly mistake, I know!) I honestly thought I stopped, but apparently, I rolled :( It's ok I'm scheduled again in the next few days! I know I can do this, thanks to this video!

I passed my test today yay!! Thank you!! Also an edit to what I said.. don't impede traffic when turning right on a green light. Check if it's clear but don't stop and idle for a while! But if it's a red light, definitely do a complete stop for 3 sec before rolling to turn right!

At the beginning of the test route when the driver is leaving the parking lot, there seem to be no visible stop sign so why did you ask the driver to do a complete stop at the stop line ? Since there’s no stop sign shouldn’t he just do a rolling stop instead of a complete stop?

There is usually a stop line there with a stop sign, but during filming of this video there was construction.

When I come to a right turn on a red light, am I allowed to creep forward after a full stop to see the upcoming traffic better? Do I need to stay behind the line so I don't block the crosswalk?

You can advance forward after a full stop for better observation. If there is still traffic, you stop the second time to let them pass. If there are no pedestrians you can advance forward on the crosswalk. If there are pedestrians you have to wait for them to cross.

For the commercial area, my driving school and the driver’s handbook stated that the default speed is 40 km/h, is this a misunderstanding? I have my test this Friday and I’ve been meaning to figure that out.

13:50 looks like the driver got confused by a "NEW STOP SIGN AHEAD" sign at 13:39, and decided to stop at an intersection.

If i see a car coming at any time during my 3 point turn, do i stand and wait the car until that car passes or do they stop and wait for me? And if they do wait for me should i finish my 3 point turn or i shouldnt move at all until the other car is gone??

If you haven’t started doing it yet, wait. If you already in the middle, continue doing it, don’t stop.

Make sure to be wearing a mask when they approach you at your vehicle when you're waiting to be tested. If not they can deduct points- the examiner told me.

Can we practice in this route ( I have g1 license) with an instructor. I heard that we can't (G1 holders with an instructor) practice in this area

You can't with your instructor because they're not allowed to take students to the routes, however you can go on your own time with a parent.
