(I misunderstood what you meant by the comment as I thought u meant style/substance switch up like him after '96) NWA did it (e.g. Straight outta Compton) dre and snoop did it (e.g. The next episode) etc. PPL are always hating on Em for goin mainstream but what's wrong with wanting to be as successful as you can be? Plus he's got a daughter to feed and his underground shit (which is my favorite) wasn't puttin' enough (if any) money in his pocket. And he didn't even expect to blow up the way he did he just rolled with it. & Dre was the one molding Em into the ultimate rap/popstar crossover.
