i agree totally!! people talk about her drug use/abuse in a derogatory and demeaning way,as if that has any bearing to her talents,but i think that the fact that it almost ruined her more than 30 years ago and took her to the brinks of hell after being at the top of the world,faced death ,fears,physical indignation to the point where she didnt ever want to perform again until she lost her pharmacuetical derived weight she had gained and facing certain career ending alienation from the industry., after all if this,she rises ,like the pheonix,also from arizona, and comes back with more ferocity and the most amazing charisma of anyone in the music ive ever witnessed!! Has the admiraton and respect of every musician,except buckingham, from wilbury alumnai to grunge kings like dave grohl,to country stars like dixie chicks,lady antebellum, to female stars like sheryl crow,to contemporary stars like harry styles, and everyone in between!!!! i think shes an incredible inspiration for all that has been down that path or think they have insurmountable odds their facing,stevie did it,maybe i can too?? stevie rocked that s...!! and with a smile on her face and a song and great story to tell to show for her efforts. brava!!!!

I love hearing her tell how she was inspired by Prince's "Little Red Corvette" and "wrote over" that song to create this one and asked Prince to come in and tell her what he thought about it. He added the legendary intro, and the rest is history. RIP Prince. 🧡🙏

One of my very FAVORITE versions of "STAND BACK" ever .. and that percussion solo to warm up the audience and allow Stevie to freshen up and change shawls - magic! Taku Hirano was such a great addition to the live line-up. And I get a huge kick out of seeing my man Lindsey Buckingham dancing and mouthing the words to the song.

While I generally agree with the consensus expressed here that contemporary music has skidded off the highway, compared with the likes of Fleetwood Mac (and Stevie), as well as a virtually endless list off their contemporaries, I have little doubt that your kids will be saying the same thing about today's music and artists when they are as old as us. And I must say that I have been moved by Corrine Bailey Rae's rendering of Que Sera Sera... at Glastonbury in 2010 and the voices of the cast of the movie version of R.E.N.T. just to name two examples of contemporary performance (and obviously, there are many more) that can stand up to any long past performances of the same genre. In the meantime there will never be another Marvin Gaye...:)

I had three knee surgeries in 2020 and have listened to her and watched her concerts on KZfaq. There is nobody with her energy. So many comments say they are in love with her. If you are a red blooded American Male and you are not in love with her, something is wrong. She has it all.
