This one hits home for me. I have been cheated several times in my life by people I trusted.

Stealing from someone is bad enough, but stealing from someone with a disability is just plain despicable. Mr. Carrington deserved to lose his job.

I had a lawyer who tried to scam me in a case. But what he didn't know I was keeping my paperwork on him as well. And our paperwork didn't match and he had to pay me back over 5K. Moral to the story trust NOBODY.

That's what the evil attorney gets for scamming people like that disabled man in the wheelchair. I laughed at the ending when the attorney got what he deserved.

I was cheated by a lawyer I hired in an injury case. It's been almost 20 years and I'm still suffering from my injuries with nothing to show for it.

I put my ex through law school. He’d already done “work-arounds” before his heinie hit law school- which only made it worse. At LEAST I learned SOMETHING vicariously from his bad business dealings. Documented the crap out of that! He left w/ his personal possessions. Off duty LEO I hired stood by for my financial & ~somewhat physical protection- am short & have minimal leverage. LEO got reasonable- compared to ex amt of $, a carrot sheet cake, AND the recipe! I don’t share my perfected recipes w/ just anyone!🤣

I feel like I'm in the same situation. My situation is dealing with getting my drivers license back. I was in a car accident due to me passing out. My license was suspended due to immediate threat of public safety. I'm all by myself without any moral support what's so ever. I hired a lawyer because a few people recommended him to me. He was a previous hearing officer at my RMV/DMV, and now he's a lawyer. Either he's dumb or he forgot how to do his job. I think he's taking advantage of me because he thinks I'm weak and very gullible. So he's got me doing all these weird things that I have no clue of what to do. What's me to do this ridiculous thing of substance abuse counseling which I don't do drugs, and he's making me do 3 drug panels. How is that relevant to my case. He's very bad with communication, all I want is my drivers license back. I have a 3yr old with special needs, I'm missing out on a lot of job opportunities. My son is on the every urge of getting kicked out his school program because I can't get him there in time and pick him up on time. Is anybody else going thru a similar situation that mines at least? I'm at my wits end and very frustrated about everything. Is there a way to go around his commands? Winter is coming and I can't keep walking in the cold. Transportation is very unreliable, taxi shows up 1 hr late after I request a ride, and bus transportation isn't any better.

I figured it out at 2 minutes or so. In reality the other party is offering SEVERAL MILLION dollars maybe 20 million or something and the lawyer is LYING TO HIM so that he can keep most of it and stick the guy with only a very tiny percentage of it.

I live de same situation in the UK and I am no proof to confront them very sad. When you are black and English is so hard to get the right support.

I'm sitting here shaking I'm so angry.. I had the similar thing happened to me a 21 party lawsuit I still have all of the papers to my case 21 party lawsuit against major oilfield companies over highly radiation that exposed me to bone cancer hip replacement my lawyers only paid me $84,000 and they took their cut out of that I wish it was a way I can go back into this case something have to be rewrote in terms of legality because this is happening I have nothing today the last holdout defendants only want to pay me $10,000 and I told them to keep it this was in 2019 or 2020 you put your trust in attorneys you almost have to be a lawyer to sit down and talk with a lawyer because it's things that they know that you don't know and they know this they've been stealing from everybody when I did put the bar of association in this the law firm changed their name because they knew I was angry but I still have the lawyer name who represented me if anyone can help me with this I would like to reopen this I'm located in Louisiana 🙏🙏🙏
