Also, if you notice, Super Buu’s eyes are initially white, but after he allows Gotenks to punch his head, his eyes turn red. I think the white is to indicate that Good Buu still had an influence, but when red, Super Buu’s evil overwhelms his good side.

The buu arc has some good moments in it different from other arcs. Finding a bit of good in an evil being. A coward being strong in another way beside strength. It taught a lesson of kindness. “Be humble and kind, but never be weak”, is the motto it brings to mind!

Honestly Mr. Satan was pretty brave all things considered. He was shaking like a leaf the whole time but he still walked his ass right up to Buu's house, after Buu had already destroyed most of the planet. He even tries to blow him up with that little hand held game and tries karate chopping him but Buu didn't even feel it and he thought the exploding game was funny so Hercule just kinda rolled with it. He walked right up to certain death. Dude is freaking brave.

Piccolo is my favorite next to Vegeta, reason why he felt lacking in Buu arc as a fighter. He became more like Kami in this arc. Glad he had his moment in Super and the new movie.

People surprised at Piccolo's powers of making anything, but they forget that he was the god of Earth. Kami and Piccolo Daimao (Great Devil King) were one, till Kami purged his evil side creating Piccolo Daimao. Then when little Son Goku killed Piccolo Daimao, he reincarnated into the egg he spat out. This is why Kami survived, the Piccolo we know is Piccolo MaJunior/Majonia (Devil Junior). Then after absorbing Nail and Kami, especially the latter, Piccolo is complete, but retains many of his former godhood powers.

Even Evil Buu remembers Hercule Satan being on of the only living beings that treated him with kindness, the other being his puppy. That's why Evil Buu caved to Videl. It's not because she, herself, is asking. He equates her with her father. Years later, Buu ends up becoming the family pet. Quite a change for something created to destroy, and he's treated well, compared to Bibidi and Babidi.

This is Super Buu, Evil Buu was the thin grey Buu that separated before they both recombined into Super Buu with the evil part of Majin Buu on top.

No, it's canon. It's in the manga. I've watched all of them in the anime and manga, and yes, I've watched the English dub, even the Kai dub. Yes, I've finished the entire series. I love all the Japanese and English dubs of Dragon Ball, and there are many dubs other than Japanese, English, Arabic, Italian, German, Latin, Spanish, Brazilian, and many more. @@averagejoe689

Goku's voice is the worst, at least the other voices were excellent and some of them are better than the English ones. There are better voices in English and there are better voices in Japanese. Each dubbing has its own scenes. @@Hymn_

@@BigGreenGreenMan-pq4ln it's a matter of preference when it comes to someone like goku. people enjoy luffy's voice which has somewhat similar voice to goku. i don't like z's eng dub cuz not only it changes what the character supposed to be sometimes (goku's i'm the legendary super saiyan speech), irritating and lackluster kid voices, and mid for the most part. but it did get better as time went on and def a huge imrpovement as in super

They improved after Kai. Watch the scene in Kai and you will change your mind. They were very excellent in Kai. In the Namek arc, Kai was superior in everything to the Z dubbing. The reason is because the English dubbing in Z was their first voice acting, unlike the Japanese. Most of them had works before and they had Experience, unlike American voice actors @@Hymn_

I blame literally everything that happens after Buu turns pure evil on those god damn idiots with guns that went and shot Mr. Satan's dog. Had they not done that Buu would've been completely content with a life of peace thanks to Mr. Satan's help but Bee getting shot and damn near killed threw him over the edge at just the exact wrong time. If it happened earlier, he might not have cared that much: "Oh well, poor doggy go bye bye." If it had happened later, he might've had a handle on it with some help. But because it had to happen right at the moment he was still processing his primal desire for combat and death, he lost the battle. Unluck, thy name is Buu.

Know DBZ taught me something. Goku can beat Superman but not with power but with skill alone. Now if Superman let Batman train him, he would super OP. I wished that child of Superman, Wonderman and God Father Batman would have been made into a series, now THAT would be one OP hero! This sub vs dub argument is getting old. Why can’t we just get along 🤦♂️. Both dub and sub are great in their own way. Don’t disrespect the Japanese actors they did great.

The random sound effects from the music in Kai keep it from being the definitive version of DBZ. The music is so bad at many times it's just hard to watch it. Kai with the Faulconer soundtrack and the original Gohan voice would be perfection. We don't like new screaming kid Gohan lol.

As far as I'm concerned Mr. Satan beat Buu in the end, not Goku. Goku only used borrowed energy anyway to finish the job, but at so many points was it Mr. Satan the reason things went well. Even the reason the spirit ball happened in the first place.

Goku does acknowledge this, later in Super when Mr. Satan wanted to reward Goku for saving humanity, he rejects the reward stating that Mr. Satan did just as much to fight Majin Bu and save the universe. As far as Goku is concerned, Mr. Satan really is a hero of humanity.

Piccolo is technically only a little older than Gohan himself. Piccolo isn't that old at all. Also the Funimation dub and the Japanese dub can both be enjoyed. :)
