The movie turns 6 today! Still a damn good remake Love Jane Levy and the gore factor That post credits scene...what a treat

It was decent. The characters were idiots and the dialogue was lame. Loved the cinematography and gore though. It's a gorgeous film to look at, even if it ends up being drenched in blood. At the very least, it's fast-paced.

i just watched it. and man that movie was completely insane. it is literally a blood bath toward the end. i like that they went in a completely different direction plot wise. i enjoyed it overall, a few things didnt make sense, but it was enjoyable

Watching this way late, but I agree with you guys 100%. It just didnt do it for me. But i do acknowledge it was a good remake. Just not the remake for me. I definitely prefer the original.

Already 10 years old!!! This has some of the best gore I've seen in a long time Mainly during the climax is the best stuff because the action is kicked into high gear with an impressive score by Roque Banos with the filmmakers adding small nods to the original like the chainsaw, the infamous tree scene etc. Not downright scary but it did make me jump a few times which is rare for a horror movie I found it funny they tried to add some emotional depth to this whole thing But the strengthened personal-trauma angle is a warm welcome for this Mia character while also trying to convince her friends she hasn't lost her mind due to withdrawal, after all the book is causing much more anxiety Jane Levy is the best thing in the movie becoming a final girl earning such scream queen status Plus you are not loathing the characters waiting for them to die; their relationships aren't deep buy serviceable There's even a hilarious cameo after the credits that knocked my socks off! This remake is way more visceral and intense plus less comedic than Raimi's version thanks to practical effects Luckily too this paved the way for the franchise to become part of the mainstream horror So it has enough to stand on its own acting as a continuation of Raimi's universe but also provide plenty of subtle hints to the original film

I really did enjoy this remake and way better than the original movie and I like the cast in this movie too Mia played by Jane Levy she did a fantastic job in this movie and she like the new Ash too and she was awesome too and I love her character too in this movie and she is a beautiful gorgeous actress too and her brother David played by Shiloh Fernandez he did a great job too and he was awesome in this movie too as well and Olivia played by Jessica Lucas she did a great job too and she is so sexy as hell and gorgeous too and I been a fan of her since Big Mommas like father like son 2011 and she did a great job in that movie too and Natalie played by Elizabeth Blackmore she did a great job too and she did a great job as the evil crazy possessed person too and she was awesome too in this movie and she is so sexy as hell and I love this actress now and Eric the stupid one played by Lou Taylor Pucci he did okay job too but dumb from reading this book and he got all of his friends hurt by reading the book and he did okay job at the end of the movie before he got possessed and can’t believe it’s almost been 10 years now since this movie came out and I was in high school too when this movie came out and I was in my senior year too and I sure do missed those classic days too and it brings me back so many good memories from watching this movie today and it’s crazy how time sure does flies in the movie world that’s for damn sure bro and overall I’m gonna give Evil Dead 2013 Remake a 9.5/10 stars I really did enjoy this movie for what it was but couldn’t of been little bit better if it had some sexual nudity for a change but that just me though in my opinions and thoughts on this movie Kylo Spencer bruh
