True and that’s the main reason the game doesn’t work for me. The suicide squad don’t feel justified in their motivations for killing the league because we know at their core they’re still good people and the squad are bad people that deserved the treatment they got. Sure it’s works on paper because they’re brainwashed but the personal motivations they have aren’t justifiable. The suicide squad always works best when they’re up against people who are objectively as bad if not worse than them. That gives us a reason to root for people we otherwise wouldn’t . For example, the hatred and desire for vengeance Harley has for Batman doesn’t feel like something we can get behind because we know from having played the Arkham games that she was a bad person that deserved to be treated by Batman the way she was. That’s why imo if you were gonna have them kill the league it should’ve been an alternate evil version of them like the crime syndicate cause we would’ve had a tangible reason to root for them.

That's one of the things I criticize about this game, many moments that should be emotional are instead made into jokes by the squad, especially Batman Superman and Lantern, Rocksteady should know that the Justice League has become attached to the audience as the heroes who protect the earth, their deaths should have been better. rather than just being shot and then dying like that

I will say flash telling Diana they have to die, while awful, is a really great moment. Shows the power of the lasso and Barry’s internal strength. It hurts that these heroes still had even an ounce of themselves within brainiacs control, and that they had to be killed

Yeah I never did understand what the deal was with that version of Wonder Woman. I read the tie-in comics that expand the backstory (highly recommended as they're actually very good), and from the beginning that version of Wonder woman just seems off. Honestly the comic makes it seem like she is the real big bad instead of Superman, as she constantly eggs on his authoritarian behaviour and gaslights him into becoming more of a brutal dictator.

Honestly you ain’t wrong. I didn’t like most of the cast, but Diana seemed to have a lot potential for a main character. Her design is also really good. The justice leagues should not die however, atleast not permanently.

Wonder Woman being completely alone with all her allies turned against her, fighting to save Earth and having to put her friends down one by one would've been so dope. (Would've been a better send-off for Batman to be mercy-killed by a friend rather than executed by an enemy)

Another detail to notice is how flash acts before making the “he did have a heart” quip. He appears looks at the sky looks to the right away from lex then to lex kinda acting like “oh didn’t see ya there” before showing off his kill.

This scene is an example of how there's some good stuff in here that's being dragged down by everything else. That bit with Flash and the Lasso of Truth was really well executed, I wish the rest of the game was like that.

It's a case of Greek God magic vs Speed force power. Guess it depends on the writer and which one they think wins out. That being said the Flash never "broke out" in the traditional sense but seemed to have vibrated his body to the point he phased through the lasso, which is why speedsters with the speed force might be among the only people that could escape the lasso.

@@Vinlander95 actually the WW comics stablish that even phasing skills don't allow one to escape the lasso if she's holding it. There are at least three instances that come to mind: 1- in the convergence event Wally was caught by the lasso and couldn't escape it, he had to knock Diana out when she was distracted and then leave 2- when Diana got zoom with the lasso he was unable to leave even tho his thing is moving thru time, until Diana let go of the rope and he blinked out of it 3- a Barry "clone" was vibrating out of walls to run from Diana, but she used the lasso to intercept him

The story just looks like it has so much potential and these cut scenes are engaging as all hell, but then you think about for just a moment. How the hell can Flash or any of the Justice League members have any chance of being beaten by gunmen? Then you see the gameplay and its more underwhelming. This could have been a good game but in its own universe not the DC universe where we know what these characters are capable of. Even worse so this is already an established branch of the DC universe that is beloved and the whole game's concept is to ruin any future game potential. You wanted a superman game? Well that's not happening now suck a duck fans.

‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ cant beat Superman and for that I felt like the game should have came with a different ending like removing the alien parasites off their brains or something cuz this games ending just makes no sense and that means the Gotham universe was pointless because Batman’s dead now and I don’t know why the flash just didn’t run back in time to a point where brainiac didn’t come and Tells every one cuz I’m not liking the ending or the game itself I’m sorry they should have just made different endings like a karma system a good side or bad side the villains become hero’s and don’t kill anybody do to much bad your you get the bad ending or something forthis kind of game cuz the way it played through in the cutscenes really sucked like why ARE WE KILLING THE JUSTYCE LEAGUE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN BEAT BRANIAC LET ALONE cuz the human beings are most vulnerable to highly intelligent multi dimensional beings that’s why WE HAVE THE JUSTYCE LEAGUE LIKE IGHHHH and btw jokers looks pretty trashy to don’t look like somebody I’d play as they should have added a karma mechanic with different endings you kills the JUSTYCE league that’s bad karma and u get the second invasion you save them and Superman and the JUSTYCE league face braniac once for all with the help of you guys and kill braniac once and for all I’d rather see brainiacs death then all the loved JUSTYCE league now there universe have no hope😂😂 this is just another Gotham knights and avengers rip off ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ We just gonna act like we and cause the second invasion again by killing the Justice league 😂😂😂

This is Batman we’re talking about if he can come up with a whole contingency plan to stop a rogue Justice League he can figure out a way to stop brainiac and free the others in a safe calculative manner. Don’t forget Superman is the one who originally got them in this mess.

@@Cosmicmorales Batman would have 100% no chance at defeating Brainiac tho, what could he use at all to defeat Brainiac? Also his plans would only keep this JL occupied until they get free again. Batman has no chance in stopping this at all.

No wonder why no one liked the game. None of the members of the "Suicide Squad" or even this game's developers intended to save the heroes (except Wonder Woman, who was safer) from the brainwashings. For me, that is one of, if not the best, reasons why "Kill the Justice League" is not really and/or always good. This game should have been remade long ago or should be rebooted later as the "Batman: Save the Justice" game, which, on better levels, could still respect and honour Batman's legacy from "Arkham" games and the members of the Justice League from the original comic books without making them too evil, too stupid, and/or too unlikable, while still including Brainiac as the better "ultimate main villain" character, the evil brainwashed "Justice League" members only as the puppets or clones from a parallel universe or earth, and the "Suicide Squad" members as one of the side-villains or just rivals to Batman and/or the surviving members of the "Justice League" who are not brainwashed. Batman should never have joined the league, and he should have stayed working behind the scenes to protect innocent people since his secret identity's reveal and the "Knightfall" protocol, so that none of his close friends and/or the other innocent people would ever become open targets for other villains who wanted to abuse his identities for whatever they wanted, until Brainiac, who would also brainwash and/or use other supervillains from "DC Universe" as his puppets or lackeys to further or achieve his own goals, made him have enough of hiding and decide to do better things for greater good in open fields once again.

They are brainwashed by brainiac to do his bidding. So from what I've gathered and understand is that brainiac came to "negotiate" and superman was gullible enough to believe it which caused superman, green lantern and batman to get infected/brain washed and only the flash and wonder woman at the time were able to escape.
