this show started out so good and deteriorated so drastically- the actors are all great w their craft but yikes the writing took a sharp turn

When Kristen finds the video of the special effects demon, you can hear the make up artist say that it came to him in a dream. Leaving some room for doubt. They do that quite a bit on the show: present a case that totally looks supernatural, find a rational explanation but close to the end a little bit of info is introduced to make you wonder. It's a dance.

I hope Kristen realizes that if word gets out that she killed Orson, not only is she screwed but her police friend, acosta and her therapist are as well. Leland can't find out about this. The police friend got a full on confession and refused to arrest her. She confessed to Acosta and he didn't call the cops. She confessed to the therapist and he didn't call the cops. I studied counseling for a few years back in college and that therapist broke a very important rule of practice. If a client is believed to have committed or is going to commit a crime, the therapist is obligated to call the authorities. He could lose his job. His license. The police woman could lose her badge and Acosta could lose his priesthood and be excommunicated from the church for hiding something like this. Kristen saved her family from a killer but she might as well have doomed everyone around her.

The series suffers with a lot of inconsistencies

A very entertaining show. A lot of "evil" concentrated in one area of the country. Of the town. Actually They never have to drive more than 20 miles it seems when in reality these incidents would be scattered throughout the world. You would think it would be way more difficult to get an exorcism granted from the Catholic Church. I have no problem suspending belief for the sake of a good show like this one. I'm halfway through the second season. several times I wish certain episodes would pick up where it left off. Some do and some don't. I'm enjoying this more than the last few seasons of AHS

Here's what gets me about this show, somebody back me up of they thought about this...the 2 doctors that deny the presence of good and evil constantly make statements and so called "diagnosis" that deal in the supernatural...like when the female doc talks about her "incubus" that's a demon....or people's "super hightened Intuition" I mean, aren't they just putting a scientific spin on what is obviously things they don't understand? Okay that's itbyeeees

###10/18/2023@10:53---I am both outraged and in despair at how the producers/directors edited Noah Robbins' death on the show. This kid is super brilliant and he knows the power of energies/magic. When I first watched this show, Noah shot himself by shooting in the mirror at his image, thus, this was no accident, but a planned suicide and also showed that Noah knows everything about how dark forces and positive powers work, and yet some oxy-moron took that away from him!###
