EVINRUDE G2 PROP REPAIR! (HAMMER TIME!)
Today we have an Evinrude G2 guys who's down on his luck. Up from Louisiana and fishing a tournament days after Evinrude decides to close it's doors and cut off their Pro Staff. We bust out the hammer and get this prop bent back into shape to get him out on the water ASAP. Enjoy!

Evinrude parts are still available, they did not go out of business they just focused there production to the new Rotax outboard. I’m not happy with what they did and the decisions they made but the G2 is a fantastic motor and still is fully backed under warranty

Ask all those Merc guys how quickly they were able to get those 887884 timing belt Tensioners replaced......while still under warranty. What was it ? 4 months or 6 months? FYI: you can order a propshaft & seal kit from BRP and have it in your hands in 3 days. Jus' sayin. 😁

He folded that one over earlier in the week. He was up from Louisiana and didn't have a lot of upper Mississippi river experience

That is going to vibrate his teeth loose. Do they not make a after market for the G2? Power tech maybe?

I thought brp was going to still supply parts for 12 yrs and still service their dealers. And every shop Should stock a prop for evinrudes and mercs.
