Tekken doesn’t necessarily have counter attacks, but you may consider counter hits and punishes as counter attacks. In other words, by literal definition a counter attack is an attack that you do to counter an enemy move.

Babylauncher3000 they did it for a reason, if you look up how Arc System works does their graphics engine they usually do what you said a blur, but that's to give the hand drawn affect. Yeah you can hear a couple people in the crowd realize who they are about to show from that laugh shortly followed by the "you can just die" quote (one guy in the upper levels is totally screaming his head off "OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"). When they show the jaw line, a bunch more people realize who is about to be revealed. As soon as the gates and the original music from that legendary boss fight are shown, everyone fucking loses their collective shit. The crowd yelling RAGING STORM in unison with the video was pretty damn awesome too
