@@dxrbkn5145 Truth to be told, anime airdashers are most difficult, and so people get upset that they can't play in a way they do in sfv or smash

@@shympek8627 A little reductive and polemic, but nonetheless fundamentally correct. Just came out of a discord convo with a bunch of smash players saying that anime fighters have terrible movement and are just about memorizing combos and blockstrings.

@@MMurine of course I would not write an essay about why I think that way on a YT comment. Should I say I do not belittle skill of anyone no matter what they play, but I still believe anime airdashers are most difficult, they just have extra layers that things like SF or KoF doesn't.

Love how in the beginning, Tasty Steve responds with "That's a lot to say" when Majin Obama said Nage vs Omito FT10 was one of the best sets he's ever saw... Then before the final game of this set Steve is like "this is one of the best fighting game sets I've ever seen" 😆

I was rewatching this again after I saw EVO 2018 and Omito is just on a different plane of league. Nage deserves this EVO Japan title for sure and I love the guy too, very hardworking and the only Faust-god you'll ever see anywhere, and this is the first time I saw Omito looked stressed and pressured. But on EVO 2018 he was more "accepting". I mean watch that and look at how he was cool and relaxed and what did it got him? Well spoilers, his second EVO title overseas and washing Machabo on GF 😂 (Machabo coming from losers side, only won 1 round out of three games/6 rounds, no reset at all). After that he didn't participate in any EVO anymore but won his 3rd KSB title. What a guy. I wonder how he'll fare on Strive, and Nage too, considering how they seem to have massacred Faust in GGS, 😢, but fingers crossed here.
