What XiaoHai said at 3:17:32 - As a world champion, I am grateful for the opportunity to compete once again in the Japanese fighting game tournament. Although my last championship win was in 2007 (KOF98), I have been patiently waiting for another chance to prove myself in any new KOF game. While many have expressed doubts about my abilities, I remain humble and focused on giving my best in every aspect of the game. Although I have wanted to showcase my skills in every episode of King of Fighters (KOF), circumstances have not always allowed for it. That is why I am particularly thrilled to have the opportunity to compete this time and give it my all. Regardless of the outcome, I am grateful for the support of my fans and fellow gamers, and I hope to continue to inspire others through my passion for the game.

This statement really makes me like him a lot now. Indeed EVO is a place for players who aim to earn the highest honour but at the same time the whole event is to make global fighting game players to gather and celebrate for the very existence of fighting games.

B.Jenet got almost no nerfs, especially compared to Kula, Gato, Rock and Yashiro even though she was just as strong, I honestly have no idea wtf were the devs thinking.

@@Magneto-Serge Don't get me wrong, I"m not at all saying she's "bad". Although I don't own the game, I've watched quite a few tournaments. Though I don't see her in every match like I used to, when she does show up, I know she can still perform well if her player knows how to use her optimally. It's just her damage was (rightfully) tuned down, and she's not as god tier as she used to be. Whereas other characters who have gotten well deserved nerfs are still played pretty regularly (gato, krohnnen, etc.)

Damn. Great top 8, but sucks to see the shitty input lag issues on stage causing frequent drops across multiple games during this tournament. Thanks to the US steam team for bringing us the English re-stream either way. Thanks guys!

Congrats to Xiaohai. Snk should still do some minor adjustmemts to the balance. Kreohen, BJenet are still a tad too strong. I mean try to use some common sense ... BJenet has Terry's original ex crack shoot and has an instant overhead. So why Terry cant have his ex crack shoot be what it was? Makes no sense why Terry cant have it but BJenet can AND with that other instant overhead. Kyo and a few others can use some adjustmemts as well.

I am honestly surprised when they didn’t make Jenet’s overhead unsafe. Technically it is minus 2 so it isn’t that bad but the problem is in corner it can loop opponents easily when it is always better that eating this over a crouch b. Personally I don’t mind an overhead is safe on block but they should at least do something to make overheads become neutral on hit so it is like a throw like yeah you steal 80 damage but no longer with frame advantages.

ZJZ的伊斯拉正逆擇沒壓準一到地上馬上被確反太恐怖了。一般人在那種場合最多只敢拉前，因為伊斯拉下一個連段打到就斬殺了。結果小孩早就準備好確反，反應和膽識都很強。

Kof sera entretenido el día que deje por un rato el 3 VS 3,o vuelva a una jugabilidad como lo es en kof 98 en donde no hay cancelaciónes de movimientos. Sería algo más vistoso de ver.

yo he jugado desde kof 94 y creeme q la version mas jugada es la 2002 mas bn cuando hicieron kof 13 esos combos si eran pasados de largos y malucos de ver pero esta version esta bn buenos combos y jugabilidad rapida muy buen juego me entretengo mucho con mis amigos con este juegazo

Las nuevas generaciones no juegan juegos en donde tienes que manejar varios personajes a la vez, por algo tekken y SF son más elegidos que kof, si kof deja el 3 VS 3 llamaría más la atención de los profesionales y del público en general, las consecuencias de que sea en equipo es que todos usan los mismos personajes.

@@HITalejandro eso se mismo se puede decir de cualquier juego donde algún top tier sea el que domine todo el meta. KoF ni cualquier otro juego de pelea tiene la necesidad de cambiar lo que lo distingue y ya. Uno debe saber cuando simplemente un producto no va dirigido para él como consumidor xd

XiaoHai is the final boss in every KOF tournament. Any time he's not there, it's like something is missing.
