The 1939 serial is a fan film. I used to think it was real but then I read the description of chapter 3 and it said that it was trying to mimic films of the 1930s

There was a movie serial in 1938 by a studio called BIC pictures. I believe it was titled Mystery of the Batman. They only produced 6 episodes before the studio went under. I think that is where the fan film got some of its images. I don’t know what exists but I’m curious to find out.

Never have watched the show aside from some clips. But i have seen the 66 movie and enjoyed it lol and if you have HBO max there is an animated movie with Adam West and Burt Ward reprising their roles.
