Batman Begins (2005) and Superman Returns (2006) should’ve led to Batman v Superman. Christian Bale and Brandon Routh were the perfect age to build a DCEU for 2 decades. Would’ve been better than what we got. 💯

This guy is a fucking monster of acting. When someone says "method acting" we tend to instantly think of Daniel Day Lewis which is justifiable, but I instantly think of Christian Bale too. His metamorphosis from the Machinist to Batman to Dick Cheeney is fucking incredible and I have to wonder if that also isn't a bit dangerous

@@abhishekmanchare1679 as a huge film buff I can name quite a few with Christian Bale. The big short (by the same guy who did don't look up) the prestige (excellent film by christopher Nolan) the well known dark knight trilogy, American psycho, the machinist and ford vs ferrari are my favourite films by him. There are more of course but the performances he gave in these films are incredible

Before he got on the top spot, the most paid actor in Hollywood was Robert Downey Jr. due to the massive (financial) success of all the Avengers films.
