The beta is basically late 1920s, the original old intro sounds like 1930s while the dlc sounds more into the early 1940s

The DLC intro is cool, but I like the original version since it matches the thirties better with the lyrics being a little darker. Plus, the barber shop quartet sounds better in my opinion.

For those of you who want the Old Intro Back, You can actually get the Old Intro back back if you go onto the Pause Menu, Settings, and then Visual. There will be a setting at the bottom that says Intro and by default (If you have the DLC.) will be set as the DLC Intro. Go down to it and Change the setting to from DLC to Classic. And that’s it! Edit: I don’t think that the Developers would have wanted to remove any asset or music from the game anyway. The game took THREE years to make. The DLC took as much time as the base game. Every part of the game took ages, and I knew there must be a way to get the Old Intro back. Luckily Studio MDHR are looking out for the fans!

All three intros are fire

there should be option to change between every single one of them to play as you enter the game. DLC one being unlocked with Old one with DLC, Reversed in the same you normally would hear it and Beta one after beating game 300%

I like both intros equally. The og intro feels like it's from the 1930's with the quarert and morbid tunes. The delicious last course feels more upbeat and 80's, like some time had past since cuphead and mugman's last adventure.

honestly, it looks like in this new dlc the mdhr wanted to match some years later than the style of the old song. I don't know if you get what i mean, but if you listen you can tell that the old intro feels, well, older, while the new one sounds like disney movies from the 80s (i think), or at least that's the atmosphere.

It shows just how much work and love MDHR put into the game to continuously improve their craft until they felt ready to release it. The early versions of Cuphead and Mugman looked so weird and ugly at first, but they look so much better thanks to them improving the art style and looking more charming. I thought the early theme song was really good though, but I love the one we currently have in the final product. Also loved what they did in the DLC's title screen by adding Chalice!

I personally like the beta intro the best. So catchy!

I like the start of the DLC song, but after that i'd say it doesn't fit as a title screen. Like I would love the DLC song if it kept the beginning tone for the entire song.

Honestly I feel like people are bashing to hard on the dlc song sure the classic one was super amazing and good but I'm actually glad we got something new then hearing the devil theme song for 4 years I would go in but it would feel like I'm ranting

You forgot "MUS_Intro_DontDealWithDevil_Vocal_666", the creepy reversed low-pitched one that shows the image of the devil when in a spectrogram. Before you say "But that's not obtainable, it's a secret in the files!".. Try getting the bad ending on the devil fight and entering the Konami code on the main menu afterward.

If you find the missing quartet in Isle 2, there should be an option to have the old intro song instead of the new one.
