When I first saw the Game Over screen for DKC2, I never understood why the screen went red at the end. Just unnerving to see years later.

DKC: Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong got crushed. They are maybe no longer survive… DKC2: Diddy Kong and Dixie Kong got jailed. Maybe they’ll got eaten by enemies. DKC3: Dixie Kong and Dinky Kong got jailed. They’ll probably tortured and bullied. DKC series Game Over so scary.

DKC 1 1:24 SNES: MEU DEUS E SE TIVESSE SANGUE EU COM CERTEZA NÃO DURMIRIA A NOITE 1:56 GB: meu deus esse jogo tá feio pra c**** 4:57 GBC: DIDDY, DA PRA PELO MENOS OLHAR PRA O OUTRO CANTO DA TELA, TÁ OLHANDO NA MINHA ALMA 5:30 GBA: ufa... tá mais agradável do que os outros, e bunitão DKC 2 2:15 SNES: bom, não ficou assusta- RETIRO O QUE EU DISSE, A TELA FICOU TODA VERMELHA COR DE SANGUE 2:47 GB: é assustador mas pelo menos não fica vermelho no final 7:00 Ó MEU DEUS QUE BELEZURA QUE É ESSA TELA! DKC 3 3:15 SNES: que tristeza.... 3:46 GB: dá mais tristeza ainda, e nem tem a animação da porta se abrindo (ou seja, POW! do nada) e fechando e os blocos não se movem... 8:23 GBA: que música bonitinha, e passou de triste pra fofinho... 4:01 DK64: se já não fosse suficiente tomar game over, AINDA TEM QUE VER ESSA CENA DO K.ROOL RINDO DA SUA CARA.

DKC on the GBC is scary as fuck. It sounds nowhere near the original. Diddy's black eye also makes it look like his eye got ripped out. As for the GBA version the music's perfect for a lo-fi.
