Evolution Of DELETING SAVE FILES In Kirby Games (1993-2018) NES, GBA, Nintendo DS, Switch & More!

Here is an evolution of deleting save files in Kirby Games. Deleting Files on a computer isn't as exciting as this. Sometimes you want to delete your save file so you can play the game from the beginning or just want to see what Easter Eggs the developer puts in. In Kirby games, it's never just a simple Erase Data, they had to do more than that! This feature started with Kirby's Adventure and has appeared in most kirby games ever since. Even the recent Kirby Game, Kirby Star Allies had this feature.

Kirby's pinball land be like " We blow up Kirby and forget about him by sending you to the title screen with cheerful music." I felt so bad when Kirby just got hit in the head with a bomb. There was no delete file option so it looked that more mean.

Also I love how in a majority of the games ask you 3 times but then Star Allies just acts like your dumb enough to accidentially click yes 3 times until that final screen or something.

When youre in a country that dosent have english as your main language and there is no option to change languages these screens are VERY useful because sometimes a younguer simbling might just think that pressing those buttons will make something cool happen since they cant read what is written but anyone knows someting is wrong when you hear a FREAKING SIREN Soooo... yeah, the game dosent "act" like youre dumb enough... He does that because nintendo is tired of hearing people complain that someone deleted their files because someone else didnt know what it whould do.

You can also delete all data in Kirby Battle Royale a b x y code but it gives you one chance to delete. Y’know what is weird? You can’t delete data in the demo but a b x y before starting will make the game tell you to delete all data.

I imagine that you can make the deletion of save files super disturbing, depending on how you represent the save files. Picture an RPG game in which you, the hero, help a girl find her parents. The girl suffers from amnesia, so she keeps a diary, in which she describes what happened in your journey in detail. In that case we could have a menu in which the girl represents a save slot and the diary represents a save file. The face shows the mood in which she was at the moment of the last save. Once you select a save slot, you are being handed the diary. The diary opens and it contents can be reviewed. On one side you have player stats and items, on the other you have a list of all the diary entries, each of which describes a day in your journey in form of a handwritten story, containing major events such as finishing a main quest or reaching a new area, as well as some minor events, such as visiting a theme park or starting an argument with an NPC. Sometimes those texts are accompanied by drawings or photos. Anyways, at the bottom you will find a "delete" option. Select it and a dialog box appears: "Do you want to delete the diary?" Say yes and the diary promptly closes. You see the girl running away from you holding the diary tightly in her arms. She struggles however as an invisible pulls it away and moves it to another screen. In that screen you see a furnace with a big red button that says "ON". The diary is thrown into it and the lid closes. Another dialog box appears. "Press this button and there is no turning back." You press the button and the furnace starts to glow. You see smoke coming out and it takes the shape of what vaguely looks like a crowd of people. You return to the previous screen and you see the girl staring at you with a neutral expression, blissfully unaware of any previous events.
