The 1991-95 Caravan’s have always been 1 of my favorites. My Mom had 1 of those, when I was a kid.

3rd one sounds like a modern Volvo chime more than an older Stellantis chime (Stellantis is what I call Chrysler Dodge Jeep & Plymouth cuz it’s their parent company)

If I were an engineer in the 1980s, I would ditch the buzzer and go with the electronic chime box by 1984 for the ram van. Chimes replaced buzzers for a reason because buzzers are too annoying and the sound is inconsistent with the weather and the slightest battery voltage variations. Cadillacs used chimes as early as the 1970s

Remember however, that Chrysler was doing VERY poorly financially in the early to mid 80s so they could NOT afford to go with chimes in 1984 on the Dodge Ram Vans and the same thing goes for the Chevy and Ford vans of the same era.

Buzzers in 2000? Those ProMasters are rebadged Fiats, that's why it's not a Chrysler sounding chime.

If Dodge wasn’t owned by Chrysler and Fiat and Peugeot through a company called Stellanis they actually would be better than most Fords still, and nicer than Chevy and on par with GMC and most Japanese car makers, but unfortunately they are not. 🤔
