I always thought DK being an event space was odd. He's not the good to Bowser's bad. Rosalina would be okay in that role, though she wouldn't show up til later

So Donkey Kong's playable appearances in the Mario Party series are the earlier than later entries. Interesting! There were many more characters to come, so Donkey Kong was a filler character.
