It's fascinating, Funky Kong started out just as Donkey Kong's character model but with trendy surfer attire on instead of a tie, but he really grew into his own distinct character. And now he's the most versatile of the Kongs, a surfer, a pilot, a mechanic, a successful business owner, an arms dealer, and the most broken playable character in Tropical Freeze.
