Naaah!! The human male characters sucked in that movie. Had attitude over emotional problems and everything. Naomi Watts ( female of course) was great and sexy in her role. Besides Kong was kinda small again.

leonel jose mora lopez. I think the appearance of King Kong was very good for his time on the movie from 1976. It was the first movie, where King Kong started to look more real ! Miles better than the movie from 1967 ! I think the 2005 movie is the best King Kong movie ever !!! Apart from that, I think the last movie Godzilla Vs Kong is the best :)

For me, the most intimidating and best kong will always be Kong 1976. Because I watched it as a child and those impressions will stay with me for the rest of my life. Everything in this film is atmospheric, and the music and King Kong are his look, his roar, etc...

The acting is mediocre, especially Black and Serkis. Poorly cast as well. Only Watts and Kretschmann are any good. King Kong 1976 has better acting.

The original 1933 KING KONG is by far the best -- it advanced cinema in major ways, something that can't be said of any of the versions that followed. The original is also right by having the girl terrified of Kong, and instead it's the viewer who sympathizes with him.

The 1933 version is the all time best!! One of my favourite movies ever. This Kong seemed more of a "monstrous ape" than a "giant gorilla" that the other movies portray. Plus the clay animation of Willis O'Brian and Ray Harryhausen was the best. Much better than CGI in my opinion. But, I love all the Kong movies. The All-Time best monster!

@@flap.d.jack247 Yes, that's true, but the 1933 kong was just so awesome! I loved his look. The clay animation of course and not the close up giant face model they made. lol That didn't look good.

People need to stop referring to the original as clay animation. It's not clay. The models were sophisticated steel, ball and socket armatures covered with sponge rubber and in Kong's case, rabbit fur.
